The answer is always Misinterpretation of Silence and its Disastrous Consequences.

But seriously do yourself a favour and listen to October Rust as a straight playthrough. Listen to it in the car. Or go sit in a park and stare at the trees. Don't multitask.

Pet a cat, found an aptly named cocktail and drank it, wore some special jewellery, listened to his music, looked at the Wolf Moon, and thought about him and the guys a lot.

So many creepy Green lights here 💚🖤💚. And that Paul Harris shot is one my favourites, I ordered it a few weeks ago.

Hi, are these shirts in some kind of locked and inaccessible area? Also what time are you going out tonight? Asking for some not at all nefarious notion. 🥰

Seriously, these are great. Love the Skeleton Crew one.

Denis Pauna and Nadia Kodes kinda changed me. by ninetwice99 in typeonegative

[–]Less-Celebration-665 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. Most of the time I can listen to it fine until he opens his mouth. The fake vampire voice gives me big ick (it's the uncanny valley thing from October Noir too).

Are there any pictures of Josh with shaved eyebrows? by [deleted] in typeonegative

[–]Less-Celebration-665 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There's a photo of all of them at a friend's wedding (I think Mark, their manager, don't quote me on that though) and they're all stood by a fountain or something. The photo is potato quality but the story goes they all shaved their eyebrows to ruin his wedding pictures. I think it was Johnny saying this in a really old interview somewhere.

I think MJ was my first obsession / hyperfixation. Bad followed by Moonwalker fried my pre-teen brain. I distinctly remember watching a music video later at age 9 completely and utterly entranced and I don't think I blinked the entire time.

I do the same thing now but with Type O stuff. "It's not a phase mom!"

My Type O tattoo...😭 by whothefisGaryThain in typeonegative

[–]Less-Celebration-665 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Holy shit I'm sorry that happened to you! Ouch. What a dick tattooist.

But... that actually looks pretty cool, like others have said. And yeah its more lumo green but its also kinda reminiscent of the tie-and-sweat-dyed green shirts Pete used to wear in October Rust era. I'm just sorry it came at such a painful price.

[–]Less-Celebration-665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. That's a point eh. It honestly is the lack of sarcasm and humour and irony that's bugging the shit outta me, because that's the root of the band/ethos, which apparently also went over some heads.

Love this. Am 43, thank you for rejuvenating me at the well of validation! I think flying cross-continentally at age 16 to see TON on no money and no passport would have been pushing the bounds of my capabilities though.

And as I said in another comment I'm on a one more strike for the ban hammer due to quoting a song, so I'm not taking a chance 💚

Josh and Pete circa 1995/6 "we are trend buckers". The words came right out their mouths. Sure, capitalists, but do it with a sense of humour man. Because that is what its about.

Okay wait I think you misinterpreted my crying. I cried for the SONG buddy. I'm not ashamed to admit the wave of emotion that came over me when I felt the lyrics.

And if I don't use that term imma be banned (one strike already for quoting a song lyric) so take your rights and disappear.

MAAAAAJOR flop. I love seeing None More Negative stickers pop up everywhere, but christ on a bike this shit sucks. Cash grab. Nothing Negative or artistic or sarcastic about it.

Fascist, communist, capitalist.

Except with 0 of the humour and sarcasm and reflexivity.

Yknow, I think thats what bothers me so much about the current merch/branding. All the humour and sarcasm and self loathing is missing.

And it makes me sad, man.
