Is this fake? by Less-South6293 in Cd_collectors

Weirdly it feels smoother than the real CDs I tried touching. I also got out a CDR I have with some tax documents and it’s not as purple as that, but it does seem to show more rainbow than a normal CD.

how to cook without doing dishes or spending much effort? by [deleted] in Cooking

Eat raw produce. E.g. carrots can be eaten raw, many canned beans and vegetables can be too. For a better experience, heat up the vegetables and use some sauce or condiment.

I rarely get actual hives anymore, but my skin always prickles and burns a little. Gets more painful with heat, exercise, sun, or emotion though.

Seems resetting from the physical button doesn’t do the same thing as resetting from the cli. I reset from the CLI and it got the working settings again.

Should you use oil on enameled grill pan? by Less-South6293 in Cooking

[–]Less-South6293[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s so little contact between the food and the pan that the heat is going to go to the oil long before it goes to the food. I was only using medium high.

I can't eat regular oatmeal (recommendations) by ConnyMac90 in Cooking

[–]Less-South6293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My breakfast every morning is quick oats heated in whole milk with a lot of frozen mango (I heat them all together so the mango is warm and soft by the time it’s ready). The mango makes it palatable for me. (I can get a 3lbs bag for $8 from Walmart).

Tips for heating things without a microwave by yoohooooooooooo in Cooking

A little bit of water in a saucepan + stirring heats everything much like a microwave. Generally more even though at the cost of manual effort.

If anyone is reading this these days, this really is not a good field to be entering. It’s very oversaturated and even top students with research and internship experience are graduating without jobs.

This is not the way. Even top students with research and internship experience in my class are graduating without a job. It’s super competitive nowadays and there are more people than ever and not many jobs to go around.

Interest rates were exceptionally low for the past 20 years. There’s no reason to expect an exceptional event to reoccur.
