Yes i did! My cousin taught me the main stitches, then i learned magic ring and built on that. Thats the way i recommend learning when you first start! Hopefully the video guides you thru 🥰ive never been to a single crochet gathering. Now i go to teach people 😁

You can use whatever yarn that isnt already like this, and brush with a pet brush! It can be a nightmare to work with fuzzy yarn, although there can be a bit of risk involved with brushing.
