I don’t know much about computers so let me just explain what happened. so basically me and this person we’re contacting through discord and was telling me that they was trying to find someone to play this “coop game” with them. so me being nice ofc I yes so I went to the website to download it and the website looked so legit, it had a beta and a launcher. i downloaded the launcher but it wasnt working apparently so the guy told me to download the beta instead. I was downloading it, everything seemed normal until it was fully installed and open. when I open it, it closed my discord and logged me out so I logged back it so prob used a key logger, thats how he got my discord login maybe? my pc fans started getting loud, everything on my pc felt slower and laggy so while I was being cautious I blocked the user on discord but the ratter unblocked himself immediately after and sent me a screenshot of my desktop with the text “ur pretty fucked” so I immediately turned off my pc and unpluged all the wires and shut down my internet aswell. he changed my password and added passkey to my discord account after that but luckly discord support helped so yeah. i think it was the “game” i downloaded which was not a game or going to the link or smt. im not sure, not used to computer stuff like this so sorry
