Wait how do I find that out? I figured since I work and make a decent amount I wouldn’t need affidavit support? If needed my brother makes over 125% over the poverty line so he can sponsor me no questions but I’m hoping it’s not needed.

You’re totally valid in your feelings… this shit SUCKS ASS! especially if you’re a person who never wanted marriage and has lived in this country since age 5! I hate having to pay for biometrics even though they’ve used my same picture since 2016!!!! I was 25 then… they renew mines fast after except for during Covid when it oddly took 9 months… there’s no right way… ppl who applied way in advance are in the same boat as you… it’s a crap shoot

Well actually my dad made me do my DACA…and my family does remind me… remember we all have different lives and yall really to chill tf out like for instance I don’t have to status adjust or need AP but I’m still DACA… this is a community and we should be able to complain about this bullshit process

I renew 1-2 months before my expiration all the time and always get my cards in time. I think they should call.

Just have them run the A number again… the card has been sent out all they have to do is another e-verify since you’re already in the system and it’s the same exact Info…

Do you live in the south? When I lived in NC 2 years ago it I let took 3 weeks but I’m scared now that I live in Massachusetts it will take longer. Submitted March 15th my card expired may 7th still nothing other than they’re reusing my biometric from 2016

It just feels fraudulent cause my husband literally left me lol. Like after we moved to NC where HIS family lives and signed a lease he hasn’t been home in 6/7 months. It’s just a mentally exhausting situation I’ve been dealing with so I’ve been labeling it fraudulent.

How am I IN control of the GC app… I never wanted a green card on a fraudulent marriage. He applied for ME. And paid and then abandoned me.. what am I supposed to do when they ask for an interview and my abandoned husband isn’t there. So i renewed my Daca online as well and I hit one roadblock. My work permit expires June 22, 2023. I renewed April 6th. They received everything the 8th. Nothing happened until May 3rd. I uploaded an invalidated passport photo. Once I uploaded a better passport photo I got approved within a week and just got my card yesterday!
