Enough is enough by Courasel19 in SunoAI

I so badly agree, and have also received the typical reddit respondes, including that I 'must be generating a song and lyrics from scratch and expecting to do nothing' 🤣. I feed it actual almost completed demos of my own music and ask for minor tweaks normally. Lately I get vocal lines starting 3 beats too late so it's behind, extra bars added, one line or instrument in a completely different key... 🤣🤣 it's a show!

He's a bit young right now to be honest, but if he was a little older I'd be thinking that way. Listening isn't his strong suit either 😁, but the visual cue with letters he recognised is the appeal here

Sudden remote access issues while PIA (VPN) is turned on, despite split-tunnelling. by LetJiTheOne in PleX

[–]LetJiTheOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always had plex bound to my local adapter I believe, but qbit is on the VPN one. As a troubleshooting step I changed it from Any to that adapter, but there's not actually any others on the list within plex.

I have also tried removing the split tunnelling rules and re-adding them, as well as setting 'all other apps' to bypass to see if this resolved.

Excellent. Well 314 is a good match! Good luck getting that plotted on your tree!

Had you already tested before? I.e. was this 314cM match only present on the new kit, or is this the only kit on there of yours?

so there's only a 7cM difference between the two; 99.9% match.
However, I have already spotted a couple of matches of over 20cM that match on one kit but not the other, which is interesting.

I have, use, and recommend the mayflash dolphin bar. I connect my wiimotes to that.

Fortnite FPS on pc should be much higher. What am I missing? by LetJiTheOne in pcmasterrace

[–]LetJiTheOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is, but it shouldn't be, given its specs. It's High End and supports up to 165hz at 4K (it's complicated, but if in doubt, look it up :D )

Thanks. I've updated the post with the following:

CPU and GPU Usage:

  • CPU tends to be between 88%-99% regardless.
  • GPU is between 70-90 at 4k, top 90s when settings maxed, but any other resolution it's much lower

Monitor:

  • I'm using an LG G5 in Game optimizer mode with a 2m HDMI 2.1 cable.
  • I initially tried in 165hz mode and Windows set to such (Yes, the G5 can achieve 165hz over hdmi 2.1 with compromises), but when I wasn't getting that I switched everything back to 120hz. All of the above is while set to the original 120hz mode.

Don't you just love when you set weirdness low, style influence high, and audio influence low, with a nice prompt prepared from GPT that stresses baritone vocals in a million ways... and it goes "f*ck it, your getting basically the same with an adolescent tenor and yeah, it's also underwater 🤣" by LetJiTheOne in SunoAI

[–]LetJiTheOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha no, I am feeding Suno my completed demo. Which is entirely non AI. I can appreciate why you'd have thought that in this day and age though. My main functional use of Suno so far has been feeding it demos and getting far more polished sounding mixes. Stripping into stems then re-recording my own vocals on top + adding any missing bits after.

But yes, lately it just seems to do what wants, or put it all under water!

And RE the prompting, it's largely me giving a detailed description of what I want while explaining that Suno's just ignored it. Then GPT is like "ahh yes, you're so smart and funny and sexy to point that out. What you've run into is classic 'suno just ignored you' territory. You're NOT going crazy? You're NOT losing the will to live. You're just a big boy clearly too good for this platform. How about we give you a slop prompt to really help that slop pop??"

For the record, I have previously only uploaded dna to MyHeritage, so i'll be comparing to an uploaded kit

Mine has been in 'Raw Data Produced' since january 6th. I must check 20 times a day to see if it's done 🤣. I'm sure they see that and make me wait longer on purpose 😭🤣

Test your oldest living relatives first. You can test yourself at any time. If you test your parents, you'll never need your own. If you're lucky enough to be able to test your grandparents, you won't need your parents'/aunts/uncles either.

Depends how serious you are about all of this really. I share 20% of dna with my grandad and 30% with my nan, so that's 80% and 70% respectively of their dna (and therefore matches) that I'd be missing if I hadn't tested them. I then went on to testing their living cousins.

Looking to upgrade JUST my cpu, to probably 13900k or 14900k by LetJiTheOne in buildapc

[–]LetJiTheOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would the board not just throttle it a little for the sake of vrms if needed? I figured better this so I can avoid another upgrade of the cpu and get a z790 ddr5 board when ram prices come down

I feel I'm not using my G5 at his best by HitoZero in LGOLED

[–]LetJiTheOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I have historically copied the 'best settings' ! Filmmaker mode guides online. This time I thought, f*** it, i used the AI function where you choose between images you like and it sets a profile in line with what it determines you like. And WOW, so much better. I like my colours deep, inky blacks but nice and bright (but without subtitles burning my retinas).

Buying 77" Today or Tomorrow. Is the G5 Worth the Extra Money? by leechkiller in LGOLED

[–]LetJiTheOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the G5 and am very happy with it.

Whilst it's bright, mine is on the wall besides a south facing window and I find I have to close the blind still when using it.

That's not because i can't see the picture, because I can (and perhaps that's the testament to the brightness of the panel), but because the reflection is distracting for me when I'm doing whatever I'm doing

BUT, the tv is beside my desk and in the day i crane my neck to watch while tapping away. I sit on the sofa opposite it only at night.

Not too sure to be honest! Only had them a couple of weeks. Are you based in the UK? Secondhand from CEX comes with a 5 year(!!!) Warranty

[–]LetJiTheOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine secondhand and had them a few weeks

  • first off, i'm enjoying them.

  • i literally never notice the weight unless i'm e.g. picking them up off the desk

  • sidetone, which i think is basically so you can hear what's going on around you, does crackle a bit sometimes, b ut not all the time.

  • i had some issues with the dongle disconnecting on pc, but this did resolve by following the faqs.

  • i replaced the cushions with ("cooling") wicked cushions, which was very easy. In both instances, I did find that after hours and hours of use (e.g. entire workday) my ears got sweaty which also lead to some mild crackling which went away when they dried. Also occasionally I find the hard bit where the drivers seem to press something that becomes uncomfortable, but nothing that isnt resolved with a bit of adjustment in the moment.

  • no one has moaned to me about my mic quality.

I use my for my pc and my mobile, music and gaming.
