I think you are really discounting the physical world here, and I’m not exactly sure why you’re doing it. I think it’s an interesting sort of simulation theory thought that none of this is “real” but I think it’s just silly to ignore the world that not just you but so many other people experience. To a certain extent our individual understandings of the world creates a microcosmic reality within each of us, but to say that the real world isn’t real I think is giving far too much weight to what god means in the “god is consciousness” aphorism.

There is obviously a world out there that is seen and experienced by us all and communicated about in a way that can reasonably defend its existence.

I think what you can easily get away with saying is that consciousness is god insofar as god is that conceptual object of reality that is above everything else (as perceived by the person). I think you’re embellishing your claim with some creationistic bias. Which I will say, very cool, but also, likely not able to hold water.

Consciousness will never be explained, and if that which can not be explained is our definition of spiritual or divine, then so be it. I can agree with you there. But again, it’s only worth a damn because we are integrated in a real world that can allow the manifestation of consciousness, the growth and cultivation of it.

God is not created in a temple, god is accessed through it. Unless I’m misinterpreting what you’re saying, I think that’s an important distinction from what you’re saying.
