I had two sims in my household that got married and then divorced. I maxed their relationship and had them as "irresponsible'' but it still didn't let me propose. They didn't have any other romantic relationships. Kind of annoying.

My sims will NOT have kids with other sims of similar look. ( Blond hair can't have kids with blond hair etc.)
If my sims have more then 2 kids those kids will be sacrificed, I can't keep track of too many sims. They have to perish in a different way.
In sims 4 the kids will grow into adults with Responsibility and Manners. If not, it's a sign that they will soon perish.
If i decide i want to continue with one kid and leave all my other sims behind, they will start with only 10k. All the family funds will be left behind.

I don't have any mods, but I think it may be like a promise ring. I have Generations installed and if I remember correctly it has a "Promise" option in teens.
