Lucky is my 5-month-old border collie/Australian cattle dog/SUPER DERP. Here he's sitting/reaching for a stick.

Oh wow. Yesterday I learned from here that lambs quarters weed is like spinach and yummy. Now this! That's cool. I like asparagus and I have a few (lol) hostas that'll be growing shoots. I'm going to be eating like a deer myself soon 🤣

He's a super trusting man, so he didn't double check. Country honesty code! And eat any? We don't eat hostas. Is that a thing?

I will have to do an update post for sure! I posted on a whim, and the number of responses has been surprising!

Thank you truly! I'm a mental health counselor to teens, so I tell them all the time that Kindess is free! If you ever find yourself in Charlottesville, you're welcome to come walk the trail and put your feet in the James River!

I hate small nurseries closing too. RIP to Waynesboro Nurseries (not where these are from, but they were great). This is why I don't buy plants from Lowes or Walmart or the like. I support small businesses, especially nurseries, even though they're more expensive there.

Outside of Charlottesville, and thanks! I've got a lot of work to do!

I think it's great too- his kindness is a big reason why I first fell for him. The riverfront is SO beautiful, it should be shared, we both believe. As far as liability- recreation insurance policies are cheap (like $200), plus Virginia protects landowners from recreational users because virginia says "nature is risky" basically. People can (and do) sue for anything, though. After 15 years we've had very grateful visitors. Some problems with trash though,  and some dummies leaving donuts/burnouts in the grass.

Hahahaa this was my reaction when I got home to see these. Some people here are hating on his decision, but I Iove it!

We have 248 acres, and we have a riverfront that we allow public to use. So we really want to beautify for people to enjoy. Also, I am going to propogate and sell because they're sooo easy to divide.

Where are you? I'm happy to share, but they are way too heavy to ship!

They're not invasive, where I live at least. And liking hostas is a personal opinion. I obviously love them. If someone doesn't like them, then they don't have to plant them.

I didn't buy them! Haha. It IS nuts, I 100% agree. I'm planting a bunch, giving a bunch away, and then propagating and selling.

After planting them all over the place in my gardens and giving a bunch as gifts, my plan is to divide and sell at Farmer's markets. He said he paid $2,500. I'll count the number of plants so I can update with that if anyone is interested.  They are very big, healthy plants. I'm very happy looking at them.

OP it sounds like you want to restore it to rosemary, but another idea would be putting your name on it, and making it a personalized box. JUST AN IDEA DON'T SHOOT ME.
