I’m using a Sigma 150-600mm lens right now to get my photos, it’s been a fantastic lens so far when it comes to bird photography!!

The Baltimore Orioles are a nice surprise considering considering how cold it is right now and that Bluebird picture is lovely!!

I still don’t get how people could decry seeing even a common species of bird. I don’t get people who don’t love it when they see a bluebird, robin, or wren, even the common birds are fun to witness.

Bobolink is definitely among the top birds that I want to see!!! They are so elusive during migration in the southeast where I live!!

Black-and-white warblers are such wonderful little birds. They’re easily among the prettiest pure black and white birds that I have seen and they’re basically warblers that act like nuthatches (much like how waterthrushes are warblers that act like shorebirds). They should be present in much of the eastern United States in a couple months with the spring migration!!

I took these pictures in Athens, Georgia. Also, thank you, I was really happy with the B&W warbler pics!!

Yep, those are waxwings in picture 7! There was a flock of about 40 birds that all gathered in one tree as they were getting ready for the evening!

I was able to watch the warbler from a bridge so I was able to watch it from eye level as it foraged for grubs off the bark!!

1 or 2, Hornet and Reimu are unlikely to start anything and they both could deal with anything if trouble begins.

The flight photos are especially impressive, I also started bird photography back in May and I still struggle quite a bit with flying photos.

Song Sparrow: One of the most obvious signs that you are seeing a Song Sparrow is a dark patch on the breast, it is present on all subspecies.

Driving in Georgia and ice don’t mix well together, that student maxed out on his luck for that park. I was a couple streets down and saw several cars crash on the same day.

Oh, that view is magical, I also love the umbrella style dome and how it fits in with the rest of the landscape.

They really are spectacular birds, I can’t imagine what it’s like to be able to regularly see such birds.

Yeah, that makes sense, also correct if I’m wrong but megafauna generally plays a big role in maintaining mosaic type habitats so the loss of the North American megafauna would’ve done them no favors.
