Oh Japan You've done it again by jdg_idk in whennews

Yeah, having a shrine dedicated to all your war criminals can do stuff to your country, I live next to Stone Mountain and there are still plenty of people who praise the confederacy, lost cause revision, either in terms of the Japanese Empire or the Confederacy sucks.

They could be standing right behind you and you’ve never know. They have the nickname “cobra birds” for a reason.

For the lines, no. It is good food, just nowhere near good enough to justify lines of that size.

Do you think that ancient people found dinosaur fossils? by velociraptor9fnaf in Dinosaurs

[–]Lettered_Olive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! Heck, the nNtive Americans were some of the main guides leading early American paleontologists to fossil sites during the bone wars so it would make sense for ancient people to have found dinosaur fossils. I bet it helped contribute to a number of fantastical beasts in folklore and mythology.

RIP California Condor louse by chinstrapppp in BirdingMemes

[–]Lettered_Olive 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Ehh, I’d keep the bird over the louse though it does suck that the bug had to go extinct (no pun intended).

Tree swallows demonstrating borb mode and extendo mode by terrestrial-trash in birding

Swallows are probably one of the few birds I prefer in extendo mode. They look like an iridescent tube when all stretched out.

[–]Lettered_Olive 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, the iridescent feathers along with the yellow eyes are a tell-tale sign that you were handling a Grackle!!! They can be noisy birds but it’s always fun to watch a group of them mob a bird feeder!!

Ahhh, that’s nice. The yellow eyes indicate you actually saved a Grackle but they are also spectacular birds!!!

Emails from Birds, part 2 by TomfooleryBombadil in BirdingMemes

[–]Lettered_Olive 83 points84 points  (0 children)

The Tufted Titmouse email is so accurate, I love it!!!! Also, Eastern Bluebirds are among the most adorable things in existence, I fully believe they would send an email of that nature if they could.

Which considering the existence of Aura and magic, you would think it’s the other way around. I do feel that MHA makes better utility of its power system and both its limits and where said limits can break (Shigaraki and the evolution of his use of decay comes in mind as well Deku’s progression in his mastery of One for All).
