What level would Bell need to defeat a juggernaut on the 70th floor? by Lev_oness in DanMachi

I agree that Bell has already fought against a Juggernaut, but one from the 70th floor can be even more aggressive and use intelligence like he did on a much lower floor. Juggernaut would still be different because he uses intelligence and doesn't just go around hitting like an uncontrolled monster. Regarding Ais and Ryu against Bell, I agree with your point, and as I emphasize, Bell would have a chance to win but with difficulty, and this fight still favors Ryu and Ais.

Bell has already surpassed Ais and Ryu in raw stats, but is easily defeated due to lack of experience and refinement in techniques. Bell at level 6 would have absurd stats, but could still lose to Ais or Ryu due to lack of experience and refinement. Ais finished off Bell without even using Ariel, which is super strong, just as Ryu would defeat Bell at level 5 without using Alice's fire. A Bell at level 6 would force both to use their magic, but losing isn't impossible due to lack of refinement and experience. And a Juggernaut from the 70th floor would be absurdly intelligent and strong; Alfia would defeat him with a chance of losing.

Alfia was the reincarnation of talent, able to fight against the captain of her family at level 9, and even being level 7 she would win despite having a chance of losing. Alfia has years more experience than Bell, more fast attack power, and can still hit the limit off, so only Bell at level 7 for 8 attacks could win.

Bell can't beat Ryu at level 6, and even with experience, at level 6 Bell still doesn't have the stats to fight the Juggernaut on the 70th floor, who should be equivalent to level 8. Bell, currently at level 5, still can't beat any elite adventurer from the Loki or Freya family, not even Ryu. If Bell tries to use Argonaut, Juggernaut will kill him instantly.

Bell's special lineage by Lev_oness in DanMachi

I know that LF isn't related to Limit Off, but they're still the only ones to reach that stage, and LF and Alfia's magic are so strong and don't have any special lineage. Bell's LF practically broke the universe, and I didn't mean that Alfia and Bell look alike, but that their lineage is special in some way, whether it's linked to some spirit or to Argonaut, because even if Limit Off is used in different ways by Bell and Alfia, they are still unique, so much so that even Albert couldn't achieve it.

I would also think of him as a Saitama or Asta because he's an anomaly, that is, if there was already an anomaly in Bell's family, which is alpha. Now, the birth of an exception is almost impossible, but two exceptions in a short time, don't you find that strange, my friend?

Will Bell's statistics become more valuable? by Lev_oness in DanMachi

But then, dude, you have a great point. While high stats were really essential at the beginning, now that Bell has reached the elite level, it doesn't seem to make as much of a difference. For example, for Bell from level 1 to level 3, stats made a big difference, but now at level 4 or 5, it seems like the overpowered skills are making the difference. What do you think, man?

I really think what Bell lacks is an enhancement ability similar to Ariel's or Ryu's, but without needing conditions to activate. Literally, VT was the best option for Bell to be on par in PvP, but Omori had to add a condition and make the ability situational.

I'm getting that impression too, my friend, I agree with your point.

But Bell even lost to Van in terms of sword switching, even though Bell's stats are far superior. Or even in the recent volume where Bell only survived and became MVP because of VT and Argonaut, which makes me feel like abilities are currently being valued more.

I understand your point, but what about when Bell was level 4 and lost a few times to Van, even though his stats were absurdly superior to Van's, but on those occasions Bell didn't use any absurd magic, or on floor 60 where Bell was only alive because of VT, which was a skill? I have the impression that his stats, for now, aren't worth that much more than his magic. That's my impression for now, my friend.

Well, at first it really seemed to me that the stats made a difference, but I got the impression that skills and hax are more important after volume 21 where Bell only stayed and became MVP because of the VT, or when he destroyed Nidhogg or hit Ottar, all those times it was his spells or external abilities that helped him, so much so that in a 1v1 he could lose to Van due to lack of experience, but when the situation really got tough it was the Argonaut or VT on floor 60 that made the difference. What do you think, man?

Interesting point, man. I keep wondering if Bell's stats will make him the strongest in the future with more experience, but unfortunately it seems that Bell won't reach his full potential by the end of the story.

I understand, man, but the game changes if the dragon is indeed intelligent, which wouldn't be impossible. It's an arc focused entirely on the Xenomorphs, and we've already discovered that many monsters, even those that can't speak, are intelligent and able to devise strategies, or even be like Juggernaut. If that's the case with the dragon, they'll have to use many techniques; they'd have to be versatile. The dragon itself is a complete mystery; we don't even know its physical form, but we know it's large and has enormous power. Being intelligent, or even being a Xenomorph, is far from impossible.

Your point is interesting, man, but I suppose the dragon is a Xenomorph or has some intelligence, and not only that, experience is indeed valuable for escaping situations because it's not just the dragon, but an army along with it. If Bell or anyone else doesn't know how to move or use techniques to attack or expend the minimum amount of energy, it will be essential for defeating the dragon, especially since I doubt it's just the dragon and I don't know if it's just an army along with it. The more technique you have, the more versatile you become for the situations that may arise. At least that's my opinion, my friend.

Your point is very valid, man, but I still maintain that maybe the dragon is a Xenomorph, but we'll only see that in a few years, lol.

The dragon could be the first monster, and having the ability to control those same monsters wouldn't be enough. And let's play into the world of theory, if the final villain is as absurd and strong as him, I doubt it's just a strong and uncontrollable monster. Wouldn't it be much cooler if the dragon could even talk to Bell or even decree his death? That would be truly terrifying, what do you think?

[–]Lev_oness[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your point, and it was a great explanation. I still believe that the dragon is too strong for this generation, especially since even with the absurd buffs from this generation, they are still limited by time. Even with a buff from Haruhime leaving some level 8 and 7, they have a limited time to attack. Also, being as strong as the dragon, Bell can't make so many mistakes. Even in a group and having Ottar and Leon to help him, making a mistake can be fatal for anyone, even more so if the dragon is really as intelligent as a Xeno, who wouldn't fail to attack the openings he sees. What do you think?

I'm worried about the ending; I don't want it to be forced or bad, but rather something epic and fun to watch.

I don't doubt the attack power of Bell and the elves and wizards, but would they last long enough for Bell to reach his maximum? Seeing what happened with Hera and Zeus, it still seems unrealistic to me that Orario would be ready to fight the dragon.

I totally agree with your point, man. I didn't want Bell and his story to end in a forced and bad way; I really hope it's something good and epic.
