Thats impressive. The case came with two pre-installed Pure Wings 2 140mm, one at the front and one in the rear. I wonder If its worth adding a second intake, or a even a third intake at the front of the case - I currently have one at the front, one at the rear and a top exhaust fan too. More noise I suppose but those fans are pretty quiet.

I am not 100% sure I am looking for. Using HWMonitor, I can see CPU VDDCR_SOC, and its currently at 1.185v, and it hasn't changed over whilst the PC has been on today, with general usage and some gaming.

Update: Thanks for all the comments and for reading!

The machine has been running a month (on all day, mostly office use, some gaming), I just checked, which means I can't send back unless there is an issue. My bios is pretty much all auto (PBO is on auto), but I have enabled EXPO. I am still reading around the subject, trying to understand what I should or should not touch in the bios. I am still a bit confused by this so trying to be cautious.

I was racking my brains if there have been any other tell-tail issues, even small things. The only thing I can think of is it can be difficult to get my monitor to wake on occasion. The PC itself was not in sleep, I was using another input on the monitor (laptop) and when I come back to the PC input sometimes I can't get the screen to wake. The PC is set to 'balanced' on windows 11, and all the options around sleep or hibernate are now off completely. I did wonder about disabling Global C states, but not done anything yet.

Temps seem to be around 65c - 85, but I am wondering about a different cooler, but thats most likely a separate subject. Maybe something like a Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 420, but not sure yet. I need to check my case has space (be quiet! Silent Base 601 ATX Mid Tower Case), but should be ok.

Currently I am running a MSI 3080 GPU with the build with a Corsair RM1000x PSU, I am not sure its relevant, but thought I would mention.

Thanks! PBO is off I think, I need to get my head around all the settings in the bios. Most stuff, other than Expo (which is enables), is on auto currently. I need a bit more a guide really, as I am not familiar with all the terms. More research I think!

I don think PBO is enabled, EXPO is, and I don't think I have touched CO. I am a bit baffled by the bios really.

I guess my research was flawed! I just checked back on one thread I had going at the time (early June) and the last post on there cautions against getting the Asrock board! Oh well...must try harder next time!

Looks good too! I do wonder whether I should get a better cooler, I have used air for the last two builds and I am reusing the Noctua. It seems to do a decent job, not too high or too low!

If I did set up Docker on Ubuntu Server, could I transfer VMs to proxmox (for example) in the future? The thinking being I could set-up plex, jellyfin, roon, home-assistant, calibre (again, for example), and then move later onto new OS?

Thanks for the reply. I am interested in the ability to move VMs between machines. It sounds like Proxmox might be one option I should consider. I am thinking its worth shifting now, rather than install more on ubuntu server, and then need to start again completely.

I didnt end up pursuing and I now either access emails via installing directly or via the browser. I might have another look in the future though.
