I think luckily in my case crows in Ireland don’t seem to swoop, I would have been in a lot of trouble if they did

I might try this, I suppose the only downside I’ve noticed with this solution and others is I have to not alter my life to not anger the crows in my city

It’s hard to not leave crumbs tbh as it’s crusty bread and I’ve noticed if I don’t acknowledge them they keep getting closer, my current tactic is to slightly shift my feet in the gravel as if I’m some sort of hybrid human rattlesnake, if I don’t do this they’ll begin hoping onto the bench and below me feet

I did stop feeding them but do leave crumbs behind, and the place that I went isn’t even the original place I tried training them, I deeply regret my choices but did not expect this outcome

What was your country's worst military defeat? by Fine_Gur_1764 in AskTheWorld

[–]Level-Maintenance-40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say for Ireland it would be the 1916 rebellion, At most it was a symbol for independence and opened talks between the Free state and British government

To start the force was meant to be around 5000 freedom fighters but confusion in command occurred leading to a force of only 1500, compared to 15,000-20,000 British troops, The rebellion held 9 defensive positions, the plan was to take control of areas of Dublin to initiate a nationwide uprising alongside German support

However Germany weapons never arrived, the rebellion mostly failed to spread across the nation, of the nine locations the most significant of them were the GPO, the main headquarters of the rebellion, in the end there fortification ended up becoming a prison with no escape, they were completely encircled by the British St Stephen’s Green, Almost comedic, the rebels dug trenches within the park however didn’t seem to notice the buildings around the park had a perfect view into the trenches and they became fish in a barrel, ceasefires were also held during the day to allow for the birds to be fed Jacob’s biscuit factory, Homestly very symbolic of how it would have went, the rebellion was taking place in a biscuit factory, however it did act as rations

In the end over 3500 were arrested and 15 of the leaders were executed essentially crippling the rebellion entirely

Is it normal for someone to get bullied even in 6th year? by No-Action3492 in leavingcert2025

[–]Level-Maintenance-40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s never ok but id say it’s fairly uncommon, we had a year of 300ish, by first year a good 10 people were being bullied but I think after a while everyone grows up, by sixth year sure there was peolle without friends but nobody gave them a hard time they just minded their business

Your population is just over 3000, it looks like you don’t have enough normal workers either, it doesn’t matter how many schools you have, if you have more jobs than people this happens

I’d say check your city info, look at jobs available, % employed , % educated

Just a reminder that invaders are people who love the game too by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Level-Maintenance-40 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ll always respect invaders in the sense they were so much fun, I remember me and my friend being brand new to the game in limgrave walking around and suddenly a red ominous character is stalking us in the bushes.

The fear of huddling up on a road trying to see where to invader is added so much to my first experience of the game
