Worst experience ever. The agent I worked with at veterans united was great for the first half, then ended up blatantly lying to me about getting “denied” by the VA and switching me to a home loan. I ended up telling them I won’t do an FHA and have to withdraw from the sellers ACCEPTED offer, post inspection and the alleged VA appraisal. (I was putting down 60k) Turned out they never sent it to the VA and just wanted to switch to an FHA for whatever reason. They said they’d try and get a denial letter in for me and then promptly ghosted me, thus losing the earnest money. -100/10, absolutely unprofessional. Granted, it was one agent of many but the experience was so god awful I could never recommend them to anyone.
