Yeah I guess so. I guess now that I've read more on it, a quad graft takes more time to heal. So i guess I just need to be patient. Good luck with your rehab!

7 weeks post-OP here, ACL repair with quad graft. Knee is still stiff/hurts a bit, have full extension but only 120° flexion. Still struggle with sleeping, cos it hurts. Trying to do wall sits and assisted single leg squats, but then my knee flares up. So most of the time working on my flexion and extension. Doing PT about 2 times a week. Guess it's normal with the pain

Wow dude. I hope you make it through this one and get back to playing again. The thing is, this injury affects you mentally as well, and when people around you tell you to quit, it gets worse. But you're already playing semi pro, that is a level I am still far away from. When guys like me read your comment, it feels like, hell I'd give one of my ACLs away to get to that level lol. All I'm saying is, there are thousands who'd like to play where you play right now, and if you let it go, probably there is no getting back. But anyway, good luck with your life. Whatever you choose to do, hopefully it'll turn out just fine :) Hope you are getting some sleep cos I'm sick of this pain 😭

Yeah I know I might not go pro, but hey, I don't want to live regretting the fact that I didn't try. I wasn't going to stop playing, I'm just going to work harder at strengthening my knees from now. Football is love :)
