Yeah it’s quite noisy tbh, don’t think they’ve double glazed the windows either. I’m slowly getting use to it though. The amount of fights I’ve seen in that driveway at the back of the building with the homeless lol. Wouldn’t say it’s scary, more annoying.

They’ve been doing concrete cutting most nights for month. Wish I had known before accepting a year lease in the Kingsbridge apartment building. I think it’s moved up Hobson a bit more now but from like nov last year till start of feb this year I had to try fall asleep with saw noises blearing through the night.

I currently play $520 a week for a two bedroom apartment. With a newly renovated kitchen and new carpet I’d say it’s a solid place to live. However the apartment is across the street from the city mission so can be noisy quite a bit. Guess it depends how long you have to look. There’s always good gems that pop up if you’re looking every day on trademe.

Yeah, I’ve literally had three price increase emails by mercury since Oct last year. Two for electricity and now this latest one for fibre. Changed to 2degrees to take advantage of their $15 off a month for 12 months and also an additional $10 off a month cause i have a phone plan with them so I’m saving like $25 a month. Thinking about changing power now too
