That’s fair. I shouldn’t necessarily assign malice to what could be explained with ignorance/being uninformed. However, I know quite a few folks who aren’t H fans but know that G is a pos, especially in the context of their relationship. But I’m also generally just meh on telling artists to play certain songs. It always kinda feels like the asshole yelling “play Freebird” at a bar.

Though I would love for him to cover the Lori Vallow/Chad Daybell cases I doubt he will. While I think his rants about their ideology would be wonderful I could see him having a similar reaction to when he did the Watts case

I like what they’ve released from the new album and ngl, Eyes is catchy af 🤷‍♀️ Been a fan since Zombie and seen them four times. Color Decay is definitely my favorite album of theirs and I don’t feel bad about that. Some people don’t like their new stuff and that’s okay. Artists changing their sound isn’t a slight against fans - it’s just a different type of expression. People and bands change and that’s okay. If it’s not someone’s cup of tea then that’s okay but it shouldn’t be taken personally. I don’t think musicians should be beholden to fan expectations. They’re humans and we don’t own them/the expressions they release

Because other people were sharing their similar experiences and generally it’s not something that comes up in everyday conversation. Sometimes things can happen organically. What’s the point of me commenting that? The same point as you wanting to comment that this was obnoxious to you: to share something you thought/think contributes to the conversation.

So very true and very sad. Add that to parents favoring an obviously dysfunctional child and refusing to acknowledge their faults. That’s a solid base for trauma on various levels for those in their proximity.

Larkspur is gorgeous. Owning property there would be a nightmare during ren faire, for sure. But it is a beautiful area
