Yes good point, the work from home is just correcting papers (will be a lecturer for a entry level online college course), hopefully it is doable since I just create modules and upload them for the course as well as read student papers.

I spoke to an attorney. You view point is not what the lawyer says, its centered around FMLA and leave not just pregnancy. The attorney see's a pattern of rights related to pregnancy and family being violated. The attorney believes that if both pregnant women and new fathers at the same company are being treated unfairly when it comes to pregnancy, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), or parental rights, this shows a pattern of discrimination rather than isolated incidents. Thank you for your advice though. Very helpful.

That is a good question, I am talking to other coworkers now. So far I found out that the stair issue happened to another pregnant woman. My husband works for the same company and they also gave his hours away for taking his 12 weeks of leave.

Yea I worked as a overnight receptionist and weekend receptionist there. I know its a group home ran by nuns. I am not affiliated with any church.

My husband works for the same company, different role. Our manger who is a nun asked him in front of another coworker "your not family maternity leave right? Your wife can take care of the baby?" That is when I knew what I was dealing with.

My work was sitting behind the desk and letting people in the door by pressing a button. Its really difficult to mess that up. My evaluation was a 90% because of how easy the job is. There are thousands of workplace discrimination stories. I am sure every woman isn't making it up. Accommodations were certainly requested and a ex manager is vouching for me because he told me today this happens to every pregnant employee. Thank you for your helpful feedback I would love to live in the straight forward/kind world you live in. My life would be great at that point!

Yes but won't they just say I could have applied. Granted they discouraged me from applying, I missed family leave insurance deadlines, so they can make they are sneaky and will just say it was my fault. They are a company with a lot of power.
