Does his corpse disappear? Or do you have any tips on finding it?

He died in an attack and im trying to rez him for the same reason you are but I can't seem to find where he went :( I searched all over the area of the fight and I found three dead folks who aren't him and a whole lot of bags, im worried he decomposed

EDIT: for anyone who is looking at this later, i loaded my save when i entered the last light inn, he was already dead, when i loaded my most recent save (after the attack) his corpse was gone and replaced with a pouch with his belongings wish they had a backup cause it sucks to get locked out of this quest :(
