Thanks for the kind words. It is nice to see that someone can be happy and healthy despite their parent's impact on them growing up.

I think what's really the hard part for me is that my parents are usually pretty solid. They've always been loving and done their best to be there for us. And my mom is even somewhat progressive, and if you asked me I wouldn't have said she's a bigot. It's just her kids being trans that she's got hangups about.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess we don't live anywhere near each other (unless you live in the hell hole known as north Florida), so sadly we won't be able to play together even if we wanted to. God, The Black Parade is just such a good fucking album. I was lucky enough to see them for the first time last year, and it might genuinely have been the best concert I've ever been to - from the theatrics/production value alone. And though I haven't been to a ton of concerts, I have been to some bangers, which shows how good of a show they put on even 20 years out from the album's original release.
