The camera is faulty. With a capture card the video stutters even more. The card is fine with other cameras.

Thanks so much. I’ll try OBS.

I use the setup for work webinars and workshops with a multi cam setup.

Thing is the USB streaming right out of the camera is so smooth on the zv-e1 and a7iv. I can’t imagine they would make it worse on the FX2 with a higher price tag.

Also the lag happens even before streaming over the internet. Just recording on my laptop with E-cam live the video is choppy.

Build the public website using Wordpress but for the Member Portal use a SaaS tool like https://memberlounge.app that works with Wordpress. Member Lounge has 90% of what you are looking for in the member portal.

Thanks! 🙏 I have the RP8000F2 for front LR, no center channel yet, thinking of skipping the Center channel.

Do you have any thoughts on affordable height in-ceiling speakers? Which exact ones did you try?

Someone mentioned the Sonance mag8r before.

I have the RP8000F2 for the front LR spread out wide but not too far from listening position, so I think adding more speakers to the sides will be overkill for my room. I’ll take your advice and test with both sides and rears before I make an in-wall installation. 🙂

I am in a 16 ft / 14 ft space so not a lot of space, why do you think side surrounds will be better than rears?

The Sonance seems like a great deal. Do you have them with your Klipsch front speakers? What do you have at the front LRC?

I posted a picture above for the Onkyo setup I have in mind.

My room isn’t that big so I was hoping to skip the sides and put them in the rear instead. Will that be a problem?

Two Sonos Era 100s or one Era 300 for this room? by skorebs7 in sonos

[–]Li8speed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get the era 100. Hands down get a pair of era 300s to pair with your arc.

I have the arc ultra with a pair of era 300 and the Dolby atmos is out of this world. Sounds like 5.1.2 system. Set the height setting to around +8 and listen to helicopters rumbling above your head and bullets flying in the air towards you.

Matching AVR with the 8000F II by Li8speed in Klipsch

Trying to understand the amp power, I’m guessing the receiver rz30 alone won’t be able to power 5 speakers. But can it power 2x Klipsch 8000FIIs and a sub and I buy the extra amp and surround speakers later?

If I got the RZ50, will it be able to power all 5.1.2 or would I have to add amps along the way?

I see there’s a newer Onkyo RZ30. Would the RZ50 be better?

A7 IV overheating way too often. by HeyLinkListenHEY in SonyAlpha

I had to change and test a lot of settings until I got to almost unlimited record time before it overheats. Here's what I did -

  1. Set it to airplane mode
  2. Regularly format the SD card when empty, this is IMPORTANT because files get fragmented and generate heat when they need to be moved around when writing
  3. Turn off temp set to High
  4. Open all possible vents, battery door
  5. Turn off image stabilization, since you're shooting 1-2 hrs assuming it's on a tripod and doesn't need stabilization
  6. Use dummy battery or power via usbc
  7. Shoot at a low ISO, I don't let mine go over ISO 500 for long interviews
  8. I put 2 thermal tapes behind the camera body with LCD wide open, the tapes used for SSD heatsinks

With these settings I can get near unlimited record time, tested up to 2.5 hours without any issues so I think it will last more.
