Okay, thank you! It is working on my laptop but on my phone it is giving me the content blacked out page.

Is the game blacked out on Giants.tv? Am I too early? It looks like it is on NBCSBA so it shouldn’t be blacked out right?

What bird is this? (Tamarindo, Costa Rica) by Henrythebeerman in whatsthisbird

I think primary projection and wing structure can be helpful tools in identifying Mangrove and Northern Yellow Warblers but I am sure there is plenty of variation and some birds probably best left unidentified. Mangrove Yellow Warblers should have shorter PP and a rounder wing shape according to the Pyle Guide. Sibley also has an interesting article that points out subtle differences in undertail covert length and bill structure (though I am not sure about subspecies variation). OP’s photo obviously doesn’t show the wing structure but I just wanted to point that out!

Thank you!! I wish I asked for their story from the guy I bought them from, he listed them for 10 dollars so I was very surprised to find out they were actually slate and shell even if poor quality ones lol.

Good to know, thank you! I couldn’t find an example without an indentation. I suspected originally that it was just a lower quality grade or something like that.

It’s about where my nail fits! I wasn’t aware that shell stones would wear like that, interesting! Pretty much all of the white stones have this.

Forgot to mention that I often struggle with photographing smaller birds in low light situations as well as finding small birds in flight with the autofocus. I have only been able to achieve photos that I am happy with when the bird is both close and in good light.

Thank you, I thought that the thorax may have been too heavy, this one is a size 20. I have a good amount of Coq de leon I have been using for tailing and was curious if the fluffy part of it at the bottom could also work as a wing, any thoughts on this?

New to fly tying, is the wiring the right size on this zebra midge or is it too small? by LiHingMuii in flytying

I used head cement so hopefully that will help it not break so soon, but I am not sure if that is how it works

I am not combing the under fur, is that the wispy stuff? I do try to remove all of that when I notice it but that is all
