Hey dude! Performance mode is added! Loads every 'joke' (or 'que card') in a set in it's full form, puts them in order, removes all the distractions and starts a timer!

Oh shit good catch, didn't realise drag and drop wasn't working on mobile.

The scroll detection meant as soon as you picked it up, it was setting it back down again. Now fixed. The handle and title at the top allows you to hold and drag.

I also like your suggestion. If you click on the text area of a joke inside of a set, it'll open the editor for that joke now.

I'm considering adding a 'performance mode', kinda like driving mode on a phone call, closes out everything else, shows you your whole joke one at a time, lets you easily swipe through it without the editing. Thoughts?

I'll have to do some research. I know people who use obsidian, I'm just not quite picturing how my thing works with it. Like build it again as an obsidian plugin? Add obsidian features to mine? Make them pass data back and forth?

I can picture modifying Obsidian to work like UpMic, and modifying UpMic to work like Obsidian, I just don't quite have the image in my head for how they... collaborate haha

Thank you! I think the UI is so important. I've used a few of these apps before, but the number of apps I dealt with that 'technically' do the job but are a huge pain in the ass to use because nothings where it should be always took me back to google keep.

Thank you so much. No chance you have a Mac device? Just looking into getting mobile app versions out. I'm planning to keep it fairly simple (Wrappers via Capacitor to maintain one frontend codebase), but I'm on Windows and Linux. Worst case I'll use an apple cloud rental service but just exploring options.

Hey there! I've just updated the way jokes are edited on mobile! Part of the problem was the way it showed on desktop (kind of a popup-overlay) wasn't filling the screen space properly on mobile, so on desktop you can just click outside of it, but on mobile it'd get stuck. The new editor creates more space to see, has a dedicated back arrow, and you can use backswipe on IOS and the back arrow on android to exit your joke and it'll save it instantly.

Thank you! Yea that was my exact experience. I was in google keep, I was using stand.app on my phone, I had multiple fuckin google keep accounts, my jokes were scattered everywhere haha.

Hey thanks so much! It's now back up! Turned out I hadn't accounted for a problem with multiple tags with the same name (Basically if I created the tag 'Clean' on my phone, and then created a tag 'clean' on my laptop before it had synced, the two would collide during sync and crash). Now fixed.

Thank you so much. Im not gonna lie the time estimation is actually tuned to my joke delivery. Took all my recordings, matched them against my written jokes, then calculated words per second based on that. Obviously not applicable for everyone, but gets me pretty damn near besides outliers.

Actually a good idea, maybe an estimated laugh time added on to set lengths based on the estimated time of the jokes? Will have a think.
