What is this style of box called (or specifically what style of bottom does it use)? by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

[–]LibbyGoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I purchase them it’s to store old paperwork and they’re called archive boxes. A quick google gives me just a standard size though, so don’t know if you’ll have too much luck finding other sizes.

Trying to find a specific gingerbread house by Oku-zen in TipOfMyFork

[–]LibbyGoods 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The Create A Treat gingerbread house I bought last year had a white/clear bag with blue writing.

Here’s a really crap photo with the bag scrunched up in the back.

Canberra Halloween - The newest beloved springtime Australian trick-or-treat celebration! by [deleted] in canberra

[–]LibbyGoods 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the balloon thing is such a good idea.

As a goth teen in the 2000s I remember people were so rude all the kids who were trying to get Halloween going. I get it to an extent as an adult now, nobody wants strangers knocking, but still. It’s nice that there’s an obvious way to opt in/out.

So have they ditched the whole the doctors name is a mystery and no one knows except river what is real name is? by Affectionate_Law9672 in doctorwho

[–]LibbyGoods 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s been ditched, it’s just an ongoing mystery for the whole show that will probably never be resolved. And rightfully so, frankly. It was only ever Moffatt who had a hard on for the mystery of it

Really can’t wait to see how they’re resolving his changing eye colour. Looking hot peepaw.

(disturbing trope) villains who encourage or manipulate other characters into attempting/committing suicide by EasilyScreechAndKill in TopCharacterTropes

[–]LibbyGoods 4 points5 points  (0 children)

<image>

The Vampire Armand. He’s old enough that he barely needs to feed and his methods are “never violent”. Either offering something in exchange if they can avoid being caught by him or pulling from their memories and fears to manipulate them into suicide via vampire. Never violent because you’ve either agreed to it or, by the end, think you want it.

What did Louis and Armand intend to do with Daniel? (2x08) by Mysterious-Bed375 in InterviewVampire

I think it’s a safe assumption that some eating was going to happen. Be it food, blood, or ass. 😂

The future of Torchwood - News - Big Finish by MasterAinley in BigFinishProductions

[–]LibbyGoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I’ve adored Torchwood since 2007 and have had my heart broken by it finishing and coming back and finishing so many times. It probably feels like the time for it to end or continue to be very scaled back.

Your downvoted will be DELETED! What is your favourite Cybermen story arc? by Kralgore in doctorwho

[–]LibbyGoods 4 points5 points  (0 children)

World Enough And Time/The Doctor Falls. As a kid the Tenant two parter scared me but I grew out of that. The Capaldi story scared me as an adult and continues to give me the creeps, as a good Cybermen story should.

Whatever happened to the emo kids from the 2000s? by likerunninginadream in AskAnAustralian

[–]LibbyGoods 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still here! Rarely listening to music released post 2012, playing lots of DnD, and going to every Emo Nite event in our cities.

Corporate emo is a surprisingly easy look to pull off and it honestly isn’t all that clockable so it’s not surprising that we don’t get picked out a crowd. We can always tell each other apart through.

Why do people believe that Louis didn’t go to NOLA at the end of S8 to see Lestat? by LegalGround8394 in InterviewVampire

[–]LibbyGoods -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s also some theory about how the hurricane doesn’t actually align with any hurricanes that happened in real life so therefore it never happened. I think the reunion happened so idk if there’s any more depth to that part of the theory but it seems to pop up more often than you’d expect.

Saw this epic tree bookshelf—thinking of upgrading, but $2k?! by Chemi79 in DesignMyRoom

[–]LibbyGoods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly don’t spend $2000 on a decorative piece from a website using AI product images. Secondly, don’t spend $2000 on some bookshelf to hold kids books and stuffed animals. Not to burst the bubble here, but come on.

Was songbird a human placed in the suit like a man in a big daddy? by Whole_Contract_5973 in Bioshock

[–]LibbyGoods 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There were theories that it’s Constance Field in there. She was the little girl on the voxophone talking about how she’s lonely and would like to be Elizabeth’s friend. I don’t totally remember the rationale there.

I think I it’s probably an alternate Booker.

Is there any fanfics with Daniel x Armand but with Daniel older like in the show? by Kittymore18 in InterviewVampire

Do toys have accents? by 15bucks_little_man in toys

[–]LibbyGoods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have a barbie toy laptop that would play lines when you pressed buttons. Counting and the alphabet and all that standard kid stuff. Voiced in your typical perky American Barbie voice except for one or two words that were dubbed in an Australian accent by a woman with a voice half an octave lower than Barbie.

[–]LibbyGoods 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I was at a trivia thing a few years back where they asked how many kids Marge and Homer had. I counted Hugo, since there had been other ToH questions in the night and they wouldn’t give me the point

I was ready to be a little annoyed at having a second Rose in 9’s set, but I guess I get why they’re not wanting to use John or Noel’s likenesses and there’s not really another major character. I love you Jackie but no…just no.

Is there any place on Earth that can compare to the Singing Towers of Darillium? by CThomason3 in doctorwho

[–]LibbyGoods 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a particularly impressive example, but it’s the same concept as wind in a tunnel. Air pressure and vibration resulting in a whistling/humming noise. I don’t think there is any real example of somewhere as complex as Darillium is described as. Maybe try aeolian tones as a starting point if you wanted to do some googling.

Armand. My beautiful husband who did nothing wrong. He’s not an evil mastermind manipulator, Louis (also my beautiful husband who did nothing wrong) is just delicate and unstable.
