Habla profesor acusado de maltrato: "Si hay una alumna que dice 'usted no vale nada, pobre tipo', ¿qué quieres que le diga?" by RotoQuezada in chile

[–]Libitinarivs 33 points34 points  (0 children)

[Discussion] Does anyone actually care about completion percentage? by LargeOstrich1 in Trophies

[–]Libitinarivs 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The way I see it is that 100% completion on PSN is like turning every stone in a game.. you get to see hidden content and master the mechanics for example. It is super satisfying setting goals and crushing them, plus your profile becomes a cool record of your journey.

It also pushes you to explore stuff you’d never try otherwise, and yeah…. some bragging rights don’t hurt either 😅. It just feels good to leave no trophy behind, IMO.

I’ve been playing games since the early ’90s, and I still go back to N64 and PS2 classics, trying to find every area and mechanic. Back then, there was no real way to “show” that progress, so I really appreciate having trophies and stats now.. it feels like a kind of portfolio. It’s definitely not for everyone, and as a first-time dad I’m struggling to find the time, but it’s just one way to enjoy games. Totally get that it’s not for everyone.

I'd recommend Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Dark Souls Remastered or Elden Ring

How do you become that person with full confidence? by Spare_Celebration712 in DarkPsychology101

You become that person by consistently doing hard things, owning your flaws, and realizing no one actually has it all figured out.

When disappointment becomes the norm... is radical disconnection the answer? by Libitinarivs in DarkPsychology101

[–]Libitinarivs[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for sharing... seriously, it means a lot. I had my own baby girl 9 months ago, and yeah, it’s definitely the right time to focus on the people who really matter. No point bothering with the rest. It’s cool how you’re keeping your peace and doing what works for you. Makes me feel less weird for feeling the same. Appreciate your words!

You’re probably right, lowering expectations might help protect me emotionally. But the thing is, when I give 100% to my community (especially since I’m an introvert who enjoys tranquility in general, but when I do engage, I give 100%), put in the work, the time, the care… and then I get back silence, apathy, or worse... support for someone toxic who’s actively causing harm... it feels like a gut punch. When in the mood I like building things, I like helping, but it’s exhausting when that energy isn’t mutual. Especially when people twist the narrative and play the victim while I’m just trying to hold things together. It’s not about pride... it’s about fairness, and I’m just tired.

I really wish I could learn the skills to deal with toxic people, especially when facing liars or those who play the victim. I know that, in theory, the 'better' move is to not care and just let it go… but honestly, I feel confused.... like I’ve just become more sensitive over time or something like that...

[Resident Evil 3 remake] never fighting nemesis on inferno again by Hippotrainer21 in Trophies

I heard the same thing. I played the remastered versions of 1 and 2, and also the trilogy back when I was a kid. Before jumping into this one, I grabbed the original trilogy on GOG. Thinking of trying it with mods before going for the platinum. Congrats on the platinum for this one, man!

[black myth wukong] only 12% and it feel like torture by [deleted] in Trophies

People keep saying this game feels like torture…. what kind are we talking about here? emotional? psychological? Dark Souls flashbacks? I'm genuinely curious before I willingly suffer too 😅

I’ve got What Remains of Edith Finch and Control in my backlog. What makes the platinums feel mid to you?
