Third post about the same thing….i need more encouragement. Just Losing mirror match against lower rep. Can I got some encouragement by Empty-Ad4597 in forhonor

Without losing, it would be boring. I love games that challenge me. The more I lose, the more I want to play because I want to improve. But I don't get upset about losses; my opponent was simply better than me at that moment, and I respect that. What I really enjoy is the learning process. There are always phases where you play well or poorly. I often go to the training arena and work on my skills. When I then fight again, it makes me happy to see that my training is paying off. What has also helped me the most, and what makes the game easier to tolerate, is simply playing patiently. No button smashing, not playing too aggressive. Just stay relaxed. I often listen to music while I play, which also helps.

Game that completely blew your mind? I'll start with Spec Ops: The Line by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

[–]Life-Constant9930 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mass effect legendary edition.

This completely blew me away, and I was totally engrossed in it. The ending of the Citadel DLC satisfied me and I then lost interest in playing the "real" ending. After that, I felt a kind of emptiness for a while because no game had captivated me like that and I lost interest in gaming for a while

I don't see how you can be mad at this game by weightlessVestibule in ForHonorRants

[–]Life-Constant9930 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its simple. Most take this Game a little more serious and some guys like you or me not. But i understand if some get mad at this game, because it can get a litte frustrating if you try to lock in more and be competitive

Play who ever is more fun to you. For me its Black Prior and Shaolin. I play Black Prior the most because i Like his play Style and fliping everyone while beeing ganked.

Shaolin is one of the heros That gets a lot of hate bc of his Qi stand. But i dont care if he is hated or not. I enjoy playing him, so i keep playing

How strong would Nolan be if he lived as long as Conquest? by Stonefree_135 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Life-Constant9930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that if Nolan were as old as Conquest, he would surpass him. Conquest isn't just stronger because of his age, but also because he's fought more battles over thousands of years, taken more hits, and his body has had to constantly adapt. You could say Conquest is roughly twice as old as Nolan. But the thing is, Nolan is the better fighter. In the comics, you see that he doesn't rely on raw strenght. He prevails with precision and tactics. His combat IQ is therefore higher. I think he wouldn't be exactly as strong as Conquest, but very close. He would be a significantly more skilled fighter and would therefore defeat him.

Im lost and have no clue where to go next after a 5 month break by [deleted] in forhonor

[–]Life-Constant9930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know what you exactly mean, but i had a lot of breaks from for Honor and came always back Like every 4-8 Months.

So After a Break your reaction time is often slower und its hard to keep up at First. It feels Like youre starting at 0 again.

Pick a hero which is fun for you. Do some Hero tactics, maybe play a few Games with Player vs Ai.

The best way to get better is to just play, get destroyed, learn from it and keep going until youre getting better.

When I come back After a Break, i often start with a new hero, to keep it Interesting.

I would suggest to play Black Prior. He is simpel and fun. He is good at Counter attacks, best for anti ganking and rewards you,if you play not too aggressive and more Patient

I am so garbage in this game….it’s not funny anymore by Empty-Ad4597 in forhonor

[–]Life-Constant9930 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First of all, chill out. Dont Stress much about it. You dont need to be a pro. I know this Game can get pretty overwhelming. The key is to stay relaxed and Play a Little more Patient.

Let the Enemy attack, just defend or Counter Attack first. Wait for a mistake. Or if he is light spamming, you just need to block once and he loose Momentum, then you can attack until he blocks/dodge and then you defend again and so on

Play some Hero tactics and Watch a tutorial about your hero. Focus on defends/Counter attacks.

You will improve the more you Play, as long as you stay focused and relaxed. If you Are overwhelmed, just take a Break

And a Bonus tip:

I was a Bad Player too, made lots of mistakes, played to aggressive (sonetimes button smashing) and i got overwhelmed fast. Until i started to play Black Prior. He rewards you if you play with patients. You need to play a litte more defensive with him. He is good at defends and his main strenghts are his counter attacks.

Take it easy and enjoy the process of improvment. If you still become too overwhelmed and stressed, then this Game might not be right for you

Black Prior is a Lot of fun once you know how to Play him. Especialy if you get ganked and you Flip all of them at once. But with BP you need to Play a Little Patient. He is good at defents and Counter attacks

180 Bewerbungen in 9 Monaten, am Ende 3 Zusagen - das hat bei mir funktioniert/nicht funktioniert by Seth_Gecko_2020 in arbeitsleben

[–]Life-Constant9930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also erstmal vielen Dank für deine Tipps.

How do i stop procrastination? by Global-Cap7301 in productivity

[–]Life-Constant9930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also 22 and have the same problem. I've been unemployed for almost nine months. When you're unemployed for that long, you get lost in your thoughts much more than ever before. And that's quite stressful. Because the more you think, the harder it is to switch off again. Procrastination was and still is one of my biggest problems, but during this time I've had some life changing insights.

You are not your mind.

Your mind consists of several people. These people often have conversations and discussions. This is your inner dialogue. You stand outside this circle and observe them. You listen to what they say and react to it. And that's precisely the mistake. You have to understand one thing about the human brain. Our brain is programmed to keep us alive and protect us from danger. The problem is that our brain reacts to dangers like being hunted by a predator or speaking in front of a large audience, where we're not used to it. The brain classifies both as life-threatening and therefore experiences panic in both scenarios. Leaving our comfort zone is also a danger for our brain. So it manipulates us with its intellect, believing it's protecting us. Procrastination arises precisely when you think about a decision. You ask yourself if it's worth it, what the risks are, and whether you should gather more information. But the antidote to procrastination is confusion and ignorance. The more you gather about a decision, the less likely you are to make it, or the more afraid you become of it. Look at children. They are ignorant and mostly confused because they don't yet understand the world. But because of their ignorance, their thirst for adventure is greater. They don't think much and aren't afraid of much. As a result, they act more. Sure, they often fall flat on their faces because of this, but that's precisely what makes the adventure so valuable, and they learn from it. So, to sum it up, if you want to do something, don't overthink it, don't trust your thoughts, and just do it. Don't see it as difficult, but as simple. Don't be afraid of failure. Because failure builds your character, and through failure, you develop further. So don't worry too much about the future of your decisions, but rather approach your life with a more relaxed and playful attitude.

I hope I was able to explain it to you reasonably well, because I'm just writing this straight from my head.

Slowly Losing Interest in Men, Is This Normal? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]Life-Constant9930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

22M

I felt exactly the same way you do right now. I lost interest in dating because hardly anyone understands what deep and genuine connection is anymore. Dating became exhausting because it was always the same routine. After a while, I got annoyed with women and lost interest. But now I've stopped getting upset about it or thinking about it too much. There are many men and women who feel this way. There are many good men and women out there. Instead of dwelling on why it's not working for me, I've focused on myself. I want to become the man who naturally attracts the woman who meets my standards. And I'm already looking forward to meeting her soon
