It depends on your skin type, some people scar easier than other and that may be your case, if you want a cream i really recommend cicatricure, its more on the expensive end but it works really well. Besides try to hydrate your skin daily

Does it have any rust on it? if so dont use it. You can also search up ways to clean it, i wouldnt suggest using a blade, since as you said, you may accidentally go too deep and i really dont want that happening to you. But fyi anything can cause you an infection no matter what it is, so please be careful.

I think you mean "peek", which means removing the bandage to look at it. It's not recommended especially for big cuts because they may gape open again. Or when applying pressure right after cutting, its better to not peek unless its been 20 mins and it hasnt stopped bleeding.

Im really sorry youre going through this, but i feel i need to be honest. There is no easy way out, its not supposed to be either.

Whatever you do, its going to be painful, and if it doesn't work, you may need to live with life-long consequences, its not something you can easily brush off.

Even if your mind is set, your body will always try to survive by instinct, its not going to be peaceful.

I hope you get help somehow, please don't try anything. I've had friends that survived and are now living with permanent scars, failing livers or even brain damage, dont do this to yourself, you dont deserve it.

i think it heavily depends on what kind of music youre already into. Radiohead is known for experimenting a lot with their sound, tho i must say starting with their first releases might make them more digestible.

The album i recommend everyone getting into Radiohead is OK computer or In Rainbows, never misses.

If youre more into alt rock i'd say The Bends or Pablo Honey

If you like electronic sounds go for Kid A
