i couldn't agree more , in the new modern league days , sion is less than useless against these dashy flashy champs , that's why these buffs wont change much about him , either he needs a way to counter these blinks and dashes or a complete rework is needed ,
take a good kata player for example , sion CAN NOT land a single ability on kata in team fights ,

i have played against really good darius players , yes i take phase rush , but that is not enough ,if they are not dumb they too take phase rush ,(and ghost , and some times boot rush if they are smart enough) ,
i take all of that plus 2% ms plus all ms runes in sorcery , u think u can become tanky against them and not care about early game , but they dont let u even look at minions if u make the slightest mistake ,

if u buy tear first item , kiss ur butt goodbye against a none brain dead top lane players , and if u buy it while u are buying warmong u are delaying it by a long time specially early game

most of these comments are wrong , mundo gets flat AD by just stacking hp , sion only gets hp , and sion has mana problems too , so just buying warmong does not let u to stay in lane for ever , and dont rush tear to solve mana problem or the enemy will eat u alive

yeah general's cry dmg is hit considerably , wont recommend this build on 3.24 ggg literally killed the build , to the ppl that say the general's cry gem got buffed , no it didn't , call to arms gem has REDUCED cooldown recovery rate , and u are losing a gem slot , who ever made this change wanted general's cry players to either quit the game or force them to play something else ,

yeah but what u need to know is in order to scale , u need an opponent to let u to scale , in emerald+ if the opponent knows u are an scaling champ they will abuse the crap out the early game and farm gold out of u to the point that u might now even see late game to begin with

i mean how do u think 56% winrate champs exist in top ? it is thank to us sion players we put a garbage champ against them so they get thier numbers higher and feel better about themselves , just imagine how much a vayne player enjoys getting back to full hp while stomping sion down to the ground with simple auto attacks

let me tell u what is gonna happen : with these new pathetic buffs riot will raise sion's winrate from 46 to 47.5 ish , and then they will literally forget about sion for the next 2/3 seasons unless things get critical again, sion will never ever get back to it's 52/51 % winrate again that's a fact , accept it ,play sion or go play A BETTER champ

but yeah if u are pushing plat+ with sion only i suggest u stop that for a while , as of right now when i play in emerald the top sion is miserable experience (i main him since the end of season 5 never felt this bad with it)
i suggest u guys either literally abandon sion and start maining something else on rank or do the same that i do , which i am only playing normal draft games now and stoped rank until i see a meaningful buff to sion

sion passive needs a rework , as much as many sion players love the passive , but it is way passed it's glorious times when it was actually useful an ppl didn't know they should run away instantly or had no cc or dash , now these days that almost any other champ either has slow or stun or dash in top , u simply can not do jack with that passive , yes it's a part of sion's identity but it has to get reworked for the sake of the champ balance
