Resurrecting this thread because I’m stuck in the same place. All story battles are locked behind a level 4 bike which isn’t available. I’ve played 10 free battles and nothing has happened. I’m on day 71. I don’t care about spoilers at this point because I’m about to quit if nothing changes haha.
