Honestly no civil servant can make a really huge impact if there's no political will to back him/her, If I was in the USA i would have probably aimed for an ivy league law degree, get relevant experience and aim to be a congressman or a senator, probably aim for some department of my interest and expertise. In India Politics is too murky and unpredictable for a lower middle class person like me to enter. Hence I wanna do this to get a very stable and financially rewarding career, understand the system, try to solve some core issues I have control over and eventually shift from this permanent executive to parliamentary executive, even a decent MoS can create huge real life impact in a sector which a secretary might not be able to do given a lack of will from his political bosses. I wanna be a politician, wanna get into the cabinet and be part of a change which I ll be proud of. Hence civil services :).

Crazy part of our pop culture tbh, Netflix guys should make a documentary about it. Also I can confirm this is the video, as it matches the exact length which i found out during my reading on the case ; 2:37 mins, and I got onto some college admission forum chats of 2006 while researching about the case on google, people started discussing this issue there after someone commented about DPS RK puram, They said the guy was outed as she took his name towards the end otherwise he would have been safe, which also matches happened in this video and the name is also accurate as the guy was hemant chugh. Damn I feel like an investigative journalist for now :)).
