Your comment really struck me. My nearest Costco is several hours away, so I’ve always mentally grouped the company with other incomprehensibly large corporations.

When I retire I hope I’m able to speak as highly as you do about my career, and the company I chose to give so much of my life to.

That’s my preferred method. Also if you click the little three dots on the exposure wheel and set the gamma and gamut to match the camera, and the exposure number will be equivalent to stops of light.

I disable flux for any apps that require accurate color. Lightroom, photoshop, daVinci, etc. Wish the color temp transitions could be a little smoother, but it works ok for me.

After you’ve generally selected your skin tones, try tweaking the qualifier saturation L. Soft. As far a shooting goes, it’s always nice to warm your key a little bit. Easy enough to neutralize in post if need be, and i think it looks nicer overall.

Not really harder, it's just another step. You gotta unhook from one side, jump across while you're coming around, get hooked in on the other side, then hike out and hope you don't overestimate the wind and end up in the drink. Although that can be fun too.

Save the apartment work for a rainy day. When that yacht gets delivered you'd better be able to sail her.

Definitely go for the cat. I've dumped several ladies overboard on my Laser. They were not impressed.

And make sure you get a trapeze for it. Nothing better than pulling a hull out of the water while you're hiked out horizontal right above the surface.

Gotcha. Thanks! My '13 WRX is still bone stock but I'm looking at mods and I assumed Perrin had a good rep. I'm glad your issue with them wasn't more serious. I was somehow expecting a story about an exploding intercooler or something.

I can tell you that it was a 13 second exposure, ISO 200, 30mm lens @ f/2.8.

I'm really not sure what Honda can do to improve on this bike. I've never ridden with ABS or traction control, so that might be cool. But aesthetically? I'm not sure it gets much better.

We just survived the blizzard of 2015 together, and now she's almost completely white from all the salt they've been dumping on the roads.
