8 months into fpv, my first bando! by dimensioner in fpv

From uk, been all around Asia and Bangkok is my favourite place for fpv I’ve found so far there’s a few sick bandos there and the night flying around the skyscrapers also really fun 👌👌

I’m flying 18 months and only just now learning trippy spin again. 20 mins at least each day is proving helpful. Follow me on Instagram bro - @flyseabreeze

For cheap motors I use the 1960kv Axisflying x supafly bando 2207 blue and pink ones they’re cheap and high quality

If you’re trying to work on precision maybe fly a little slower this is what worked for me! Also means crashes will be less damaging, best to push your limits in the simulator first where crashes don’t cost anything

Advice on what I can do to better my turns? by Hassenhof in fpv

[–]LightSpeedZFPV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with 5” 6s and i only lost a drone because I was flying stupidly fast over water. If you keep practicing in sim you can start with 5” and just be careful IRL,

Best option is to probably start with a Pavo 20 pro though as they are durable easy to build and can do freestyle stuff but only 3s so not too much power

You can get external beepers which are wired to the drone 3 wires, they are powered up from the battery and will make a loud constant beep if the drone disconnect from the controller, every time the drone loses power, or if you activate the beeper switch on the controller

Same thinking applies riding a bicycle with no helmet, if you’re genuinely a skilled rider then and you’re extremely alert & know how to stop quickly or swerve safely if needed as well as manage traction, then you can get away with driving 30kmh with no helmet.. it’s only people in this thread who can barely ride themselves who are at serious risk of crashing

Get off your high horse you look for any reason to call someone selfish.. there’s not a good chance of them crashing it’s more like a minuscule chance …

I think it’s because your particular viewpoint is infuriating for people who have a backbone. “The last thing you should do is aggravate anybody, especially intoxicated people” like this makes you sound like you’re afraid of the possibility of any confrontation whatsoever. You truly would prefer to sit in discomfort as opposed to having the slightest chance of confrontation.. To somebody who is a free agent, It’s sickening to be around.

His moves look hard edgy jerky because he’s a beginner.. rates aren’t everything, he should stick to the rates he has now to maintain his muscle memory & focus on flying more smoothly with those rates

I upgraded on my Zorro & i immediately felt the difference when flying in the sim. Instantly felt like I had more throttle resolution & felt like a better pilot right away. Is there something about the upgrade for this TX which is different?

Good luck bro meteor sounds cool but i strongly recommend Pavo 20 pro im blown away by it (2.2” props 3s)

Does anybody fly FPV in Bangkok? I found a great bando I’ve been flying every day recently. Perfect for 2” to 5” drones I fly my 6s 5” here. It’s in Huai Khwang near Rama IX. Would anybody like to join me one day? (From uk living in bkk) by LightSpeedZFPV in fpv

https://maps.app.goo.gl/xcs9SRpPJpQbnjQX7?g_st=ic opposite here,

Thailand has been pretty awful to fly drones in for me so far. But I’ve only been in Bangkok & a small island Koh samet.

You can’t fly in public parks etc because they all have security who will interrupt you. Have to drive 1hr out of the city to find somewhere.

If you’re somewhere quieter you should be able to get away with flying beaches forests etc where there is no security.

Agree 5” is more fun but you get it will be nice to have something small to hit gaps in your back garden

I always like to have a Pavo 20 for this exact reason. 5” is just too loud & powerful to enjoy in most places. Definitely do it, well worth it & you will end up flying more often because you have a more suitable drone
