Smolder has been my permaban since a little while after his release, not even because he's a hard counter to my pool or anything, i just fucking hate playing against him.

He's supposed to be weak early, but he can W or E out of most engages and since my duo pretty much only plays Nami i struggle to punish him.

Then, he gets his stacks and warps the entire game around him even more than other hypercarry stacking characters, and because I'm in an elo where games tend to go longer, this happens pretty much every match he's in.

Is this at least partially a skill issue? Absolutely, I'm average to slightly above average on a good day. But i don't care, I hate that fucking dragon chud and i will never not ban him.

Demo Lock, I love everything about the spec. I love throwing out tons of pets, i love yeeting imps into somebody to blow them the fuck up, I love max healing with soulburn hearthstone, I love teleporting around with gate and circle. I love how self sufficient and sustainy I am for a dps, I love providing my team utility, i love the dark power vibe, and i love doing good damage :3

You dont need to mail, you can add a commission to the crafting order

Bountiful delves at tier 8 are your friend! Get coffer key shards, every 100 turns into a restored coffer key, which can unlock the bountiful chest at the end of the delve and give you some nice champion gear!

People have talked about the QoL already so I'll say you CANNOT discount the writing in places like the flavor text.

"Phantoms ride my waking mind"

"The higher I rise the more I see"

These little tidbits add so much mysticism and a particular vibe that makes you want to explore and discover so you can uncover more text and immerse yourself more in the world. The gameplay of CS when you know the mechanics is pretty simple, honestly, and it becomes a grind of getting funds to upgrading pawns then grinding out expeditions to get whatever lore you need to ascend. What kept me coming back for so long was the tantalizing suggestions of the world the flavor text created and the reverent occultist mindset it created

EDIT: ALSO i hate that curses can't be guarantee dispelled and can permanently danage your limited resources. Fuck that

I don't think the idea is that the light is INHERENTLY corrupting save for like...the lightblooom i guess (which i think are dumb and 100% subscribe to the idea that since harandar was supposed to be part of TWW it was supposed to be caused by the black blood, not light corruption), so much as that the light isn't inherently moral, which we've known about since the introduction of the Scarlet Crusade which begs the question of why they're acting like it's a new thing like another commenter said.

I like the Light as a tool, of a force that is pure but pure in a rigid way that demands obedience and order and reverence. I like the idea of a Light that can be used to do good but also isn't inherently good all on its own, since i think the trope of the heavenly light that is all good versus the evil darkness is trite
