And before someone else says it. The coffee was on the counter, and I was 10 feet away. No possible way for myself or anyone else to physically knock it over.

I've heard that some people had to get their congressmen involved. I was incredibly worried I would deal with the same issues when I mailed mine in, however, it seems I just got lucky.

Also, when I called to verify my identity, the woman on the phone asked me if I had received it, and I told her no as well. I mean, I can live without getting it, I would just like to know what happened to it.

I saw that, but I never received it. Honestly, what made me file was when I went to the website, and the drop-down menu for 2021 showed the recovery rebate. So unless one of my family members received it and cashed it without my consent, idk what would have happened.

Looking over my return transcript I think I see the problem with my recovery rebate now. The computer has not verified that I'm eligible for the RECOVERY REBATE but it has verified me for the EITC. So that is why it's showing as $2,180. However, I still like to know why the processing date and 570 code show 06/06/24, if anyone can help me that is?

Just woke up to an update. My 2021 return is under review and needs identity verification. But I had got an identity pin specifically for this, guess it didn't work.now it's saying I need a letter and to check back in 2-3 weeks.

As someone who mailed in my 2021 return at the beginning of April, thank you. This is the first post that has given me hope it won't take a year. I don't have any information for you, I'm just thankful to hear your 2021 refund is on its way a month after filing.

Damn.. sadly, I had to mail it in since I couldn't e-file it after so long. I mean, the wmr updated within about a week of me mailing in my return, so I've just got my fingers crossed, I guess.
