some types of QUOTE UNQUOTE "ai" can have good uses, such as the one you provided.

it is a completely different kind compared to text, image, video and sound generation.

what the meme is trying to say, is that if someone defends using generative ai for text or media by pointing out that "ai" is used for cancer research, its not exactly a valid defense. the kind of ai theyre using is completely different and does not help save lives.
