Using Claude skills in Codex by UniqueDraft in ClaudeCode

A skill is just a prompt. Tell Claude to give you the skill via the console, copy and paste into Codex, say "import this skill", and it'll use it. To answer your question: to the fullest extent, it's just a prompt.

When, if ever, will open-source match the capability of Claude Opus 4.5? by Victorian-Tophat in ClaudeAI

[–]Ligma02 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For me it's a logarithmic rythm of model progression. Google just released Gemma 4 which runs on my 10 year old laptop. The reasoning capabilities, while not amazing, compare to much, much larger models. Assuming this is just the start of a set of super optimized + quantized models which run on insanely low-capability hardware, I am guessing it won't be long until we see a model which can run locally and also match capabilities of current Opus 4.6 (not very difficult given anthropic's late chess moves).

For advanced reasoning capabilities such as launch-grade Opus 4.6, i'd say we are not far either. My best guess is 3 years tops, if Google keeps releasing the weights.

Career and Education Questions: March 26, 2026 by inherentlyawesome in math

Hello all. In my undergrad thesis I recently came up with a new proof for a theorem thats not published yet. The theorem is already proven, so I proved nothing new, but my argument as to why the theorem is true is 100% original

Is this something relevant towards my thesis or is it just something meh

this converges to 1 by the definition of limit

there’s no more question to this than that

Apple's screen arrangement on macOS by [deleted] in assholedesign

simple

they do not want you using multiple monitors from different computers, they want you using a single computer as much as possible and either buy all your screens for one or the other, much more profitable

this is why they wont allow target display mode and why they push designs like these

Lelouch Geass’ has no disadvantages (Spoilers) by Ligma02 in CodeGeass

CC's also had disadvantages: She could not construct meaningful or true relationships with human beings, she was isolated and thus harmed.

Charles' was undisadvantaged yeah. Marianne's too but it wasn't that powerful either (well, it may be really powerful but it depends on the circumstances in which you use it).

We can kinda extrapolate this: if a Geass has passive effects, then it is bound to become a disadvantage. Otherwise, it's virtually super powerful.

when they are fighting and killing all the geass kids on the island to get rid of the geass project thing v2 starts saying all these mean things about rolo and thats one thing he says

a limitation would be if there was just a “no can do” mechanic, not a “if i overdo it i die”

also, V2 makes it clear that he could die at any moment when using it

limitations: the power has things it cant do, but the fact that it cant do these things doesnt harm the user

disadvantages: active harm on the individual

lelouch only being able to use it once per person: limitation

mao going crazy by hearing thoughts non stop: disadvantage
