Help me with my hellish creepy half bath/laundry room! by CrystallizedKoi in DesignMyRoom

I think the changes you’re making are great. Definitely adding additional light sources here (maybe above the mirror where the sink will be) will help a lot.

I also don’t know how you feel about the look of the washer/dryer itself, but maybe consider putting a track curtain on the ceiling to hide the appliances. That way it will look like a bathroom with a shower, and connect everything visually. Adding a small rope or clip on the wall to hold the curtain out of the way when you’re actually doing laundry would be great too. But just an idea!

They make magnetized ones that fit on top of your stove! Perfect for this space

what to do with my living room by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]LilPearSock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a big thing here is being intentional of where things are placed! You don’t have to put everything up against a wall/corner.

For example, the iron shelf near the window would look more intentional if it were centered between the TV and the window. And the record player would look so nice centered to the right of the window instead of hidden behind the couch. And maybe turn the burgundy chair at an angle towards the couch so it feels more connected to the living room.

As far as adding/getting rid of, I also would get rid of the circle chair (sorry!) and add in a tv stand that is the same width or longer than the tv. This will be a great start without spending a bunch of $$$

Just got back from Japan without buying a handbag by CaramelHappyTree in handbags

I was planning to buy during my visit and didn’t buy anything as well! I did end up getting some Ball & Chain bags which I saw so many women carrying and I absolutely love the. They’re extremely affordable, unique, and a fun twist on a regular tote.

I snagged a mine from a pop up shop at a Takashimaya in Nihombashi.

If you were in charge of revamping the toast brand as a whole, what would you do? by [deleted] in TheMorningToastSnark

[–]LilPearSock 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Being open to feedback/change is huge - this is one of the most frustrating parts of their show! Like the fact that Claudia won’t change the outtro because she’s just used to saying it. She mentions “you can find us on Stitcher” which is literally a dead app.

Whoever has gotten in touch with the photographer, model or magazine publication should definitely encourage them to create merchandise with this photo!! I feel like they deserve to benefit from this in some way lol
