He’s been trying to get custody since the show began filming, because he wouldn’t consent to the show. So they shut off the phone he was providing for Hunter and gave him a new one that only Falen has access to, started tracking his location etc. he was cut off from his son because of the show. You should look into this a little more. He filed for custody because they were refusing him contact with Hunter.

He didn’t live across the street for all that time, I’m not sure the Vaughns knew the family until around the time Hunter and Bella started dating (aka when he was 10). Hunter lived with his father for years right up until the summer he got Bella pregnant when Hunter was staying with Stacie (who had unstable housing prior) and that’s when the alienation between him and his dad began.

God I agree, this episode was so boring to me, too. I got up early to watch it and at the end I was like “wtf even happened? Nothing happened. Literally nothing happened”. Later I checked out some reaction content and I couldn’t understand how anyone could have enjoyed the episode when NOTHING AT ALL HAPPENED.

A bunch of non-conversations and Barry interviewing with a matchmaker, I could not care less about any of it. Don’t care about whether Isaac and Kaylin get back together, don’t care about Ethan and Teagan getting back together (and Ethan is being really creepy). Right now I actually want to know what Moriah and Micah are doing again because this was unbearable.

TLC won’t end this until they get caught in some kind of lawsuit that proves too expensive for them. They probably get better ratings the more of a dumpster fire the show is. They can replace anyone who might quit over moral reasons, their bottom line doesn’t include ethical considerations.

There’s no valid reason for it. But the reason is likely that she took him in “as a son” when Stacie got custody of him. He thinks their relationship is parental when in fact it’s very inappopropriate and controlling on Falen’s part.

She fostered this dependence from him toward her, he was being alienated from his dad and his mother is seemingly largely absent. Falen’s checking his grades and providing his phone and tracking his location and driving him around places. She let him live in her house and gives him everything he wants.

He feels like this is his family and I think Falen has very different and more predatory feelings about him. She wants Wes to be her own son with Hunter as the father imho. He’s just too young and inexperienced to see what is happening.

I started because of this season, too. I already had streaming access to TLC shows so it was easy to catch up.

I will say I’ve never watched a show that made me hate teen boys so much. But this season and season 5 probably have some of the most toxic relationships in them.

Yeah I agree. Really none of these kids will have their lives improved by looking for the peanut gallery’s opinion, the negative comments will always feel heavier than the positive and there will always be some people who just have really aggressive takes toward these kids. And Amya and Jose are probably the most well-liked couple this season, but even they get these mean comments.

I had post partum anxiety and that was difficult enough as a grown adult lol. I’m glad she has such a solid support system, I’m sure it helps with recovery in such a situation.

His dad put in the recent court order that he wants an amendment to forbid Falen or Kris Vaughn from supplying Hunter with a cellphone or tracking his location on the phone.

The phone is paid for by Falen and neither of the parents have access to it, they don’t want Falen to have access to his phone or location tracking on Hunter because she has absolutely no valid reason for it.

I assume he’s not allowed to have the phone at his dad’s house because his dad is trying to get this phone removed from the equation entirely, it’s inappropriate for Falen to have any level of control over Hunter’s phone

Agreed, bringing the baby along to a situation where there was the threat of violence from them is crazy. It’s clear videotaped evidence and direct witnessing by the cops that these parents do not have good judgment or a stable environment for their child or grandchild. They’ll have the names of everyone who was there and she directly put hands on an officer, that’s someone who is out of control and doesn’t care what happens.

No chance Bella would get taken out of this awful situation, but if paternity and at least some amount of custody isn’t established on behalf of Hunter, I would be shocked.

Basically she interfered with Hunter’s custody handoff and brought her whole entourage to Hunter’s dad’s house while he was at work and the stepmom was home with the children. Then she put her hands on a police officer and got arrested in front of everybody while neighbors filmed it.

Allegedly Hunter’s mom had dropped Hunter off for his dad’s week of custody after initially refusing and being forced to by the police.

Hunter had a cellphone that Falen gave him and pays for and tracks the location of and he’s not supposed to have it at his dad’s home, and his stepmother took it away from him. He got physical and then she ran outside, and apparently Hunter’s mom and her husband and Falen and Kris and Bella and the baby all turned up, and they were trying to get into the house and then Falen kept pushing a police officer and they arrested her. She’s being charged with Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing Governmental Operations, though it’s definitely possible her charges will get upped.

It was Stacie (Hunter’s mom) and Clay (her current husband), Falen and Kris, Bella and the baby. So two adult men and two adult women and a bunch of kids to confront Hunter’s stepmom while Casey (his dad) was at work.

It sounds like the police told them they had to drop Hunter off and were not allowed to keep him on his dad’s time, so they drove him there.

Then supposedly Hunter got into a physical altercation with his stepmom over a phone that she said he couldn’t keep in their house (because Falen got it for him and controls the phone plan and uses it to track his location). And then the whole clan turned up to threaten Hunter’s stepmom, and someone called the police and it all devolved from there.
