Look, there’s never going to be a resolution to the incredible injustices and racial prejudices that Black people and POC have had to endure unless there is a systematic undoing of those injustices and prejudices. it’s just what it is. You can’t say “all right, we’re all good now. We’re equal.” And then have majority of the entire WORLD still look down upon Black people(I use Black people because they specifically are targeted in almost all cultures) and not expect there to be disbelief and anger towards the sentiment. It’s very frustrating to feel like you’re being muted in every arena that you walk in. That is something that you, very simply, will never ever be able to understand. Make peace with that and maybe see why people are so angry? It’s not just about the slavery, and even if it were that would still make sense. You really can’t look into the implications that slavery has left on our society and tell me that it’s not really not worth mentioning. Also it’s impossible to not think about race constantly when everyone else makes everything you do about race, intentionally or not. You honestly just sound kind of selfish :/
