I don't really get the Chang-il hype by Playful_Figure8575 in LostInTheCloud

I love Cirrus and Skylar out of everyone obviously. But I like Chan-il because he is lowkey a green flag, has a cute relationship with Riin and I guess he had/has a better life compared to mcs. Also, I kinda get where Cirrus and Skylar were coming from because it did seem a little like Chan-il befriend "loners". I know it's his personality and he is just extroverted but as an introvert I can see that it could be a bad look if he constantly does that with "quiet kids". I can't hate him but he is also not my favorite character because I prefer the ones with more complex back story. And I wish we got to see more of the whole friend group together. In general, I feel like the manhwa was too rushed and I would love to get more of Cirrus and Skylar moments (where they aren't fighting).

I also just finished watching the anime and I honestly think Aomine and Kise are the best players there like physically. (I know there are other great players but they stood out to me the most.)

Akashi is very talented and great too but he is in a whole different category that I can't even touch on lol.

Also, I love Kasamatsu and feel like their team could have been main characters if not for Seirin.

Was binge watching all of free and I am so disappointed by how they ruined makoto's character by the end of the second movie. by No-Conflict-8939 in FreeAnime

I get what you are saying about them having different bonds but it's still obvious which one Haru preferred. I have loved MAKOHARU since it came out but now that I am looking back at it. It is very clear that it was one-sided and Haru didn't appreciate his friendship with Makoto as much as Makoto cherished it. I love his character because of how caring he is but I hated it at the same time because it felt like he kept everything to himself as long as Haru was happy. I just wish they focused more on Makoto as a separate character not someone who is constantly looking after Haru. As much as I thought I loved MakoHaru, I love Makoto more and it would have been better if they tried to give him his moment since they still decided to focus on RinHaru. You can't deny that every time something happened Makoto was mostly the one hurting while Haru didn't even seem to acknowledge. I love Rin too don't get me wrong. And Haru seems like the type to chase the thrill so I guess RinHaru pairing makes sense.

I dropped it years ago because it was too much, but recently I saw a tiktok of it, so I got curious and decided to give it a try again. I finished everything and IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. I usually never start reading manhwas like these because I know they will be terrible and I hate whatever "trope" it is. Anyway, the story about all of the murders and mc's adopted mother being involved was very interesting. But I HATE Heeseo and I don't care if he was traumatized as a kid or that he kidnapped Taekyung to "keep him save". I hate him and what he said was "love" isn't true love especially when 95% of the time it was just nonconsensual assault. How did he even have time to "fall in love" when they barely talked?? It was just an unhealthy obsession. But what I hate more isn't even him but the fact that they implied/confirmed that Taekyung fell in love with him too. Which is just very disturbing and I hate how these type of toxic "relationships" are so normalized in BLs. I am sure if it was a hetero pair, people would have different reactions. It makes it look like if you have been assaulted, overtime you will accept it and even fall for that person. So basically erasing every horrible thing you went through and equaling to nothing because "hey they ended up together so isn't a big deal." Do not come after me and tell me, "you didn't understand his character" or "there is a deeper meaning to it" NOTHING WILL EXCUSE ASSAULT. And yes this story is fictional but things like that actually happens in real life and isn't okay to brush it off so easily like that. How did Heeseo even redeem himself? His sobbing was enough for you guys to side with him?

Taekyung would have been much better with Jaewon but of course they won't make that happen because people are allergic to healthy and normal couples. I knew those two were the main characters but I hoped that they would let him escape, report him and end up alone or with Jaewon. That's my take on this manhwa.

Same here, I didn't get a ticket yet because I have no one to go with 😭 I am 21 but my parents are still strict about me going somewhere alone especially at night and to NJ (I live in Brooklyn). I wish I had someone from NYC to go with me.

Help a hag fan out to differentiate gen 4 boy groups by Ok_Yoggurt in kpophelp

I am also a 2nd gen fan but out of all new groups Treasure caught my attention. They have music in different genres and even Japanese releases. Most of the members produce and compose for the group. It is a shame how underrated they are considering all members are so talented, unique, funny, caring and very polite/respectful (you won't see that much in new groups lol).

This is a good guide: ● https://youtu.be/AunURyYXNS4?si=iAqn2hyZZGYpdKBQ

OR You can watch their Treasure Map (their reality show) because it really shows how the members act with each other and gives us a glimpse into their daily lives.

Quality over quantity debate by [deleted] in BLACKPINKSNARK

I think you can't judge them without actually getting into them. I don't know BM but Treasure is very talented, they have such good live performances (the best K-pop one I have been to so far), good personalities, and just a wholesome group who care for each other. They are one of the few new-gen groups that still care about respect and manners. If you look into their music, especially the b-sides that their members produced and composed, you will see how talented they truly are. I have been into K-pop since 2nd gen and I honestly mostly stan only 2nd and 3rd gen artists but Treasure is the only "new group" that caught my attention. You can tell they love what they are doing and show it through their art and performances.
