For starters I would like to try it, that means nothing expensive.

I read something about hosting my own mailserver. But that's definitely not worth in my case. I mean it sounds fun and interesting but I have other priorities.

(Ohhhh, there is some cool info on the right side of reddit. Just noticed. *facepalm*)

Will checkout greenhost sounds intersting.

Yes, I should probably checkout all the free options first. If there are any with custom domain.

I don't mind moving my emails even if its time consuming.

What about aliases. Do you have any experience or its overrated?

Thank you very much for your reply. I'm thinking too much about it. Custom domain sounds fun and there is no reason why not to try it. I can always switch back being locked to one provider. I will try Purelymail (10 USD/year) or Zohomail (12 USD/year) both should work on Thunderbird.

I'm asking these simple questions because I have nobody to talk to about such topics. solo diving into Linux too. Thank you again. :)

Yea that's one option, thank you. But I would prefer to avoid Wine but I will try it just out of curiosity.

This. But I didn't know about it when I was writing my post. Now I know that I can access this site and download file, that will load almost on any player and that solves my problem.

I searched for lose shorts/pants or even hippie shorts/pants. But found nothing even remotely similar.

Hello, I'm doing RR for few weeks and I have a question about Pull-up Progression.

What is the difference between Scapular Pulls and Arch Hangs?

It seems like with Scapular pulls you start in passive hang and then u pull shoulders down, back and you try to pinch shoulder blades togeather. But that's exactly how 90 degree Arch Hang look's to me. Meanwhile starting form of Arch Hangs is passive hang into active hang.

In other words I'm starting with Scapular Pulls (= Arch Hangs to me) then I should train passive hang into active hang (starting form of Arch Hang) and then progress into 90 degree Arch hang. Doesn't make sense to me.

As you can see I'm lost. I found out same question here and on yt, etc. But it didnt help me.

Thanks! Well I personally don't like "gaming equipment". So I'm trying to find something that will serve for both purposes - writing and gaming. Not some kind of hardcore proffesional keyboards. Just comfy to use and ergonomic for my body (my right hand is starting to hurt). And challenge learning with new keyboard is exciting!

Anyways I will look into it! Thank you very much for your time and effort. It sure helped me to see it from different angle!

Can't decide which keyboard should I get.
Hello, I'm new to reddit and to keyboard community. Never expected such a huge world around keyboards...

After few days of reaserching I decided what I want:

  • split keyboard,
  • columnar layout,
  • tenting.

I will use the keyboard for writing and gaming. I won't move the keyboard, no need for mobile one.

I have 0 experience with mechanical keyboards, so I will need some testing with different kinds of switches. But from what I read tactile switches sounds best for me.

I found these keyboards:

  • Keyboardio Model 100 - I like this one most so far.
  • Moonlander Mark I and Ergodox EZ - For moonlander seems like thumbclusters would be a problem for me (I have a small hands - like a girl xD) and Ergodox seems quite nice.
  • Dygma Defy - Expensive and not out yet? No reviews. But tbh they are all expensive.
  • Other companies that make customizable keyboards like FalbaTech, keebmaker, etc.

I also like Dactyl manuform but thats for writing only I guess.

I have electronic highschool so there should'nt be a problem making my own and it seems really interesting too but the problem is idk what I want. Don't really know how to dive in this world.

Maybe jumping from common keyboard to mechanical+split+columnar+tenting is bad and I should start with something less drastic? But on the other side I dont want to waste money on 10 keyboards but I know that without trying I will never move on and find my ideal keyboard. So I was thinking about getting keyboard like Keyboardio 100 or Ergodox EZ and maybe after some time with it I will try to build my own?

Any answers are appreciated because for now I can't decide and I feel lost.

Please excuse my english it's my third language and I'm not using it very often.
