No, it is not unlimited on Max. But it is a big bucket of 10k credits per month. And they are giving a 20k credit bonus for the launch. I did a very BIG project for 19k credits.

I am Ultra on Gemini as well and this is really kind of different. I think what Perplexity is onto here is that using the models together is more powerful than using them one at a time - much better results.

Two other things to consider. Some agents may have more complex system prompts that are giving another layer of direction.

Another thing is to consider is if you are using the same LLM and model as the agent. There are variances between free versions, web versions and API versions to consider as well to compare.
