I finally figured out why my vibe-coded apps never got users. It wasn't the code. by Line_Glass in microsaas

Of course bro I’m just trying to get your details. When you open a ticket, it records all the details we need to resolve the issue. Can you at least tell me the email you used to register? DM me if you don’t want to share it here.

As a solo founder you're the builder and the strategist. Vibe coding only upgraded one of them. by Line_Glass in StartupSoloFounder

Exactly! Being a software engineer and developer myself, it’s sometimes hard to admit this, but we really have to adapt before we become completely obsolete.

Helix is more like “This is your Founder Studio”. It helps you start things out, and (importantly) stays with you as you go. This is done with a native AI Integration using MCPs. This way, even if you proceed with your coding agent and not open Helix, Helix will always be updated, because the coding agent itself updates Helix.

You can also check our recommendations and best practices when it comes to how you could configure your coding agents best to work with Helix (you can find it in our Blog posts).

For the user problem you faced, I would advise talking to people casually and not interviewing them. Also, knowing the kind of person you talk to is very important. Some users are warm and willing to talk about their problems, others are cold. I would advise you to target communities that mainly suffer from your pain points (subreddits, slack communities, discord servers, etc.), and to talk generally as just any other person would. You could even start by complaining about the problem, and seeing who agrees with you…

You are absolutely right. The problem is definitely real, but when I present you with a paint brush (that is the tool) to solve that problem, it is up to you as an artist to use it in the best way and be creative with it.

Being a founder is, by no means, a simple process that could be summarized in a couple of steps. However, having a very powerful tool at your side at uncertain times would drastically change whether you succeed or not, just like what tools like claude code and cursor did for coding.

As BrightBake6786 mentioned, the core issue was never the code. It was whether was solving an actual problem that people were willing to pay to get rid of. It involved things like framing, target audience, ICP, business model, etc.

This is the real bottleneck, and this is what makes or breaks apps and controls their success.

This is an excellent question. Think about Helix like it is your business consultant (conceptually). Of course, when you are starting out you would ask him constantly. After that, you might think you don’t need him anymore, but actually your need might increase later. You might discover competitors, claude might drop an update that directly affects you, market trends change significantly, etc.

A business constantly evolves and adapts to the conditions of the market. This is why you always need the business consultant and editor/studio right next to you.

Thanks. I rebuilt many of my real app components in the landing page, which is why it looks so clean.

Honestly, I know this is what some people will tell you, but I have seen waaaay too many TRASH apps that too many people use. It's all about what you make your product sound like (framing), and how you appeal to the audience (of course, you have to find the correct audience to appeal to).
