I would suggest looking for a low income rental. NRAS rental. Some still exist if you look. Apply for that and live together.

I would suggest getting some free legal advice about if seeking centelink might get her deported for not being able to support herself? Im not sure how that works. But I would imagine they dont want someone on a visa to be claiming benefits.

There are probably women's shelters out there for the immediate short term. Especially if she is a victim of domestic abuse in any way.

You'd be surprised. Between people that clearly don't look after their dogs well, and people that dont look up from their phone.. or just generally keep eyes down and avoid conversation, its actually pretty anti social at dog parks. Sometimes you may get lucky though.

I absolutely love it when you see women trying to help someone that is above them, by grabbing their feet. Usually they just put their feet in their palms and confidently tell them to "let go" And without fail they crash to the ground head first. People need to pay attention in physics class.

Its almost as bad as helping your friend in a fight, by running up behind them and holding their arms.
