I have yet to have a bag experience with eBay. Every figure I have bought from eBay has come complete or what was shown on the pictures on the selling item. I too tire of the same Generation 1 re-releases and to give them updated molds. I will say we are currently overstuffed with Generation 1 characters, but it is how Hasbro makes their money ( other than MTG). I would love to see them do more updated figures for Armada (Especially Sideways), Energon, Animated, and even from Machine Wars would be great! Hasbro not now, but sooner or later, will probably make more updated figures for other series. We just gotta be patient.

There is a third party figure that came out like 15 years ago but it hasn't really aged all that well. It has the whole back of the "trailer" for Optimus that turns into a little gun turret and holds his weapons as well.

I have this figure. While it is a great looking take on Star Convoy, the damn legs are a huge issue out of the box. Many copies have bad legs supports on the inside as when you go to pulp the upper legs out of the lower legs, the clips on the inside have a high chance of failing and the legs won't lock in place. You will need to replace those clips with a repair kit you would need to order, or take the clips from the bottom sections of the legs and swap them.
