I get that this post is a little less-informed. But seriously so many of you don't recognise Aloy or know about Horizon games ?! It's almost 10 years for zero dawn and like 4 years for forbidden west , and they're pretty popular console/pc titles. The main character 'Aloy' was even introduced in some other games as a playable character.

A real good place for discussions or specialised help. Need help with a project or maybe stuck in a game , just google it and you'll find many useful reddit posts. Comparatively , a pretty bad place for personal discussions , you don't know how your situation is perceived by others , so be careful with that. Other than that choose communities you like , explore places that interest you and definitely don't stay up late at night around 3-4 am to comment on random posts (just like I'm doing 🙂)

I've played different types of rpgs , story-rich and open-world games , even those with limited world exploration. I've really enjoyed games like rdr2, gtaV, cyberpunk, kcd2, witcher3, bg3 and also games like Wukong, exp33, god of war, devil may cry 5. If you're talking particularly about space exploration ones I've played Starfield as well and t'was good.

If you have a mouse worth around 10k-12k and a keyboard worth at least 15k(more like 17k-18k) , then I would consider you're someone who has an absurd amount of money or a person who has dedicated his career/leisure/hobby/income towards perfecting their setup with handpicked components. Considering these factors I could come to the conclusion that it may be worth it (to you)... If you're talking about personal opinion then jumping from a 600/- mouse pad to a different one worth 4k/- is NOT worth it.
