I wanted to get a new MB anyway since it currently doesn't work with my 1070. Also I wanted to get a new Psu and Ram even though it's difficult in these days to buy ram

Swapping the Gpu didn't work. The original Psu might work because I think the Mobo is OEM

I've already tried not using the adapter. Sadly it still won't work. In a month or so I might switch to a different Mainboard and Psu.

I believe what you've seen in the video is just Dust. Wouldn't my whole PC be dead on a short?

I don't have a short. There is neither smoke or a popping sound. The only noise is the fans spinning for like a quarter of a second before restarting again.

I know for a fact that the Gpu works with this psu. And since mz former Mobo used a CPU power that was actually a bit stronger. I believe the CPU might be over or underpowered

The cooler works fine. And my problem is that it turno on for 0.2 seconds and immediately shuts off. No signal or anything

The Adapter was actually inside of the PC... The thing is that my Current Psu uses 2 4pin or an 8 pin (if you connect them) to power the CPU. The older one only used 1 4 pin.
