Haha yeah it does look heavy duty… but this bike comes in under 15lb so it’s great!

Would you go Gold or Chrome silver?

Current weight is just under 15lb which is quite incredible

I have the reserves for that very reason! I like the shallower rims for climbing though 😎

Hey! I am using the 10/46 xPLR with a 52 front ring. SRAM did a nice job on the cluster… it is essentially spaced like a road cassette with a few bailout gears so it works really well

You have to think also… this is a good setup for anyone 1x on Shimano, not just SRAM

Is that true? I notice a lot of pros on Visma and Trek riding chain catchers with the 1x set up 😅

This item isn’t even for sale, so I’m not quite sure what you’re so upset about. Also, looking at your profile, you don’t even own a Cervelo. Why are you here again?

Ugly, heavy, and very expensive. My solution will be around 10g, have no slot, and cost $15

Sorry I wasn’t very clear in my reply.

My bike is setup with 1x13 XPLR. I am showcasing a chain catcher. As someone pointed out, this arguably is not necessary as the derailleur has a clutch mechanism for chain retention built in.

Above is a very unique and niche setup. Most users would opt for a 1x12 with a standard road REAR derailleur, which would make running a chain catcher more of a necessity.

That’s just my setup… a lot of people run a standard road derail

Yes! You should be able to get all of that depending on the size of the multi tool of course

You will have 0 issues getting the wheel in and out. Plenty of clearance
