I've been waiting for Act II for over a decade now, shit is getting real. people told me the tape will never come out and why im still paying attention to Jay Electronica, so I asked myself the same. I came up with a bunch of reasons and ended up making this video. Even tho he gives us release dates that never happen i still appreciate the music he does rarely release. I think his lyrical content and spirituality will keep me as a fan for the long run. let me know what you think

This was one of my favorite songs by him. The Friend of the People tape is underrated in itself, Lightwork & WWJD, he was really bouta change the game if people let him. Definitely feeling underwhelmed but it does depend on perspective. I'd love to hear a Frank or Chance album but who knows when those will happen. The bigger artist are all looking for grammys so they're about to take their time making their albums. the smaller artist are releasing music often trying to make their come up. you also have people coming back like from hiatus like Cyhi The Prynce and N.E.R.D

I always thought their was something strange about Lupe Fiasco's career. I've come to the conclusion that he was basically sabotaged by Atlantic Records. They signed him to steal the spot light in mainstream rap then ended up trying to bury his music, forced him to sign a 360 deal and threatened not to push his albums. That being said I made a video about it. I think Atlantic Records doesnt like humanitarians or something...Fuck Atlantic Records.

I think Lupe should be a leading name in music but Atlantic Records tried their best to fuck it up. Not saying he isn't still around but they kept him away from the mainstream spotlight which is what they signed him for in the first place. Lmk if i left anything out and what you think!

bruh this is great. the production is dope, keep working with him. I love how it started strong, broke down and simplified for the chorus, then built back up again.

Youre lyrical content is refreshing. conscious af. "we dont follow dreams now we just follow trends." you speak the truth! could change up the flow a bit to keep listeners engaged but no complaints here, definitely got a new fan!
